Great Location and Solid Building

I have been at the Eddystone for close to three months now and don't have many complaints. The walls seem thicker than most apartments I've lived in. I can't really hear my neighbors. The management staff is wonderful, especially Barbara. She helped me speed up my move in and was incredibly helpful with arranging a schedule.
One thing that they could improve on is the head/AC system. It's a bit older and I've already had to have people come in and fix it for me. That said, this place is good value and a perfect location.

Eddystone

This apartment has been great. The management is amazing and one of the main reasons I signed a lease here. The building is always clean and pretty quiet. The location is great. There is a whole foods close, and is in walking distance from some great DC restaurants and bars.

Logan Circle Reviews

Lots of restaurants, bars, shops etc. Whole foods and TJs not too far. .5 - 1 mile from U street and Dupont, about a mile from campus. Very central.
Logan Circle is a really ideal neighborhood- it's kind of in the center of a bunch of other neighborhoods which means you're in the middle of everything. There's a Whole Foods, CVS, Trader Joe's, and Safeway within walking distance plus a ton of restaurants and bars.
The neighborhood is great. I'm a ten-minute walk from the McPherson Square Metro stop, DuPont Circle, and only 15 minutes from U St.
I recently moved to 14th Street near Logan Circle, and couldn't be happier with my decision! After having lived in Adams Morgan, Bloomingdale, and Friendship Heights, I can truly say that I've never had the combination of neighborhood charm and proximity to amenities that I do in this location. I feel safe in my above-restaurant apartment building, and I live south enough of the bars that it is quiet at night. Very close to Whole Foods and Trader Joes.
Logan Circle is just next to the 14th street corridor. There's a lot to do, beautiful homes, and safe, clean sidewalks. Street parking is available and there are great restaurant, bars, shopping, and transit options. Whole Foods is right there, but if you have a growing distaste for that chain (like we do), there's also a Trader Joes and Giant.
Logan Circle is the best place to be in DC. Less commercialized than dupont yet still a 4 minute walk. Walking distance to Chinatown, U street, and its on 14th. The bars and restaurants feel more small business and localized. People are always out and about.
Pros: close to everything, good bars/restaurants, good local businesses, dog-friendly

Cons: Expensive, losing some of its character as area becomes richer
Walking distance to several metro lines and going-out areas.
