Very nice neighborhood property close to University
Big complex with many buildings, Gated environment, safe for families in a very residential area of town and easy access to Emory University with University shuttles and Atlanta Public Marta Bus. Has pool and tennis courts

Post Briarcliff Review
Great place with the community but with quite a few hassles

Awesome Spot
Love this spot! Spacious apartment, gym is solid, having access to multiple pools is great, very nice neighborhood mix of young adults, students, families, and seniors. Scenery is good. Feel price is VERY reasonable, especially for having a roommate. I think even adding all my costs to my rent it cost of living is still only about $1.1k to $1.2k per month. Management staff can be slow but is generally solid. Having to take trash across the entire complex is not ideal. Buildings and appliances can be on the older side but for the most part they work well enough

Great Goizueta community, average room interior, inconvenient for groceries shopping
Many Goizueta MBAs live here, which is a big bonus. It is on the Executive Park shuttle line, which is helpful for commuting to school.
The rooms are spacious but a little old. There are better options at the same price.
Inconvenient for groceries shopping if you don't have a vehicle. The nearest grocery store is about 25-30 mins walk.

Nice
Nice location (close to campus). Near a lot of neighborhoods/shopping centers with lots of grocery stores and restaurants. Not the cutest area/not a lot of walking areas nearby. The apartment itself is a little older but they are nice. There are a lot of grill areas/2 pool areas. There are also a lot of medical students in the complex.

Post Briarcliff Review
Post Briarcliff is in a great location about 6-7 minutes from Emory, with an Emory bus in walking distance for those who do not have transportation. It is also very close to several shopping areas with Kroger and Publix, as well as tons of food locations (including Starbucks just down the street- very dangerous) and easy access to the freeway. If you like to run/walk outside, this is also a very large complex, and is flanked by other neighborhoods that are lovely to walk through. I would say the complex is in a very safe area. There is a large Jewish community in the area so many families/pet friendly. There are also a ton of Emory students in the complex, so lots of chances to meet your peers and form social/study groups.
In terms of the apartment complex itself, terrace floor apartments, like the one I currently live in, are likely to get very little light and are more prone to pests, though we have not had many issues with that after spraying down entry points. There is a great deal of tall trees and shrubbery in the complex, which is aesthetically appealing, but unfortunately also create many shadows and is also TERRIBLE for keeping your car clean in the parking lots (not actually covered though I think they market it as such). There are also frequent power outages in this area because of all of the trees falling during storms, so wifi is sometimes an issue. But this is something that affects the larger area, not just Post Briarcliff. The walls are extremely thin, so we are able to hear neighbors from every side. If you do not like the sound of footsteps/running from above, I would definitely advise a top floor apartment. Otherwise, the apartments have a very good amount of space for a decent price, especially if you have roommates, and some units have just recently been renovated. Make sure to tour the apartment in person if possible as the photos or virtual tours offered may not always be representative of the typical unit/the unit you are interested in. Washer and dryer is not offered in every unit, but there is an option to rent as well as a laundromat in the complex.
Management has been very responsive in terms of addressing noise complaints and maintenance issues, however there seem to be more maintenance issues than I would have anticipated, such as water leaks and floor warping, though everything is eventually resolved. The complex is gated, however the gates are often broken and remain lifted so they are somewhat irrelevant. Because it is a large complex, there are several pool/grill areas that are really nice. Mail was previously sent to a mail room that was a mess, but they recently changed it so most mail is directly delivered to your door. Overall, a nice place to live but definitely areas for improvement depending on your preference!

Cheap rent, nice amenities, good community
Post Briarcliff (aka MAA Briarcliff, they changed their name) is great bang for your buck for an apartment you live in during medical school. Cheap rent for a very nice and spacious apartment, really nice amenities and lots of beautiful scenery and outdoors areas nearby. Usually a lot of medical students live there, and there are great areas to gather (pool, grill areas). Management/maintenance can be a bit scatterbrained, but a very good place to live all things considered. Great location, too! Right near Emory and very close to grocery stores, restaurants, and other places of interest. Also, Google Fiber access and free parking is good.

Pretty Standard
I knew I wanted to live along but be near other medical students, so Post Briarcliff was the perfect choice as it also had the cheapest rent for a 1 bed 1 bath that I could find. Management can be a bit slow on responding to issue and some things may require going to the office to make sure they are resolved. There is a quick turnaround on maintenance requests and I have always been satisfied on how things were repaired or replaced. I live on the first floor and the floor are thin, so unfortunately I can hear my upstairs neighbor very often (talking, laughing, footsteps). All in all, it's pretty good for the price and location is excellent as it usually only takes me about 5 minutes to get from the parking lot of Post to the Michael Deck on campus.

It's average..could be better
I could not visit Atlanta to check out apartments before I moved in so I relied heavily on the management team at Post Briarcliff. I asked them for a unit with marble countertops and stainless steel appliances (these were my only must-haves). They could not confirm if the unit I was getting had those "because the current tenants hadn't moved out yet." That was very strange to me. Usually, the management team at apartment complexes can ask tenants to view their units or ask them for information about their units. It was a frustrating back-and-forth process. Then when I moved in, I noticed the tub was extremely dirty; turns out it needed to be resurfaced - why hadn't they done that BEFORE I moved in?! I had never experienced something like that before, and I have rented in NYC...Also, they took forever to give us our referral bonuses though they had a large sign at the front and back of the complex stating that they were. In addition, I have had a host of maintenance problems; some were completely fixed quickly, and others, not so much.
I chose Post because I did not have a car when I started and it is close to school and the Emory shuttle stops by here and a few GBS students who I had met were also living here.

Golden Drop Cafe--which has outdoor seating incase the pandemic is still uncontrolled when you read this--is just 3 min. down the road. Mason Mill Park, which has tennis courts, a pavillion, and walking trails, is also very near.
