Good Location, Great Staff

The staff at Gables Midtown are very helpful and responsive and made my move that much easier. The apartment complex is located in between Midtown and Emory, which make it ideal for students and young professionals.

Gables is the perfect place to live if you want access to Midtown and Piedmont Park. I've loved the walkability and haven't really had any complaints since moving in 6 months ago. The management was swift in getting me settled into the new apartment, and we are happy with the value you get for the money. The pool is worth it alone! I highly recommend the property.

Nice place to Live, if you can afford it

Ive been at Gables for a year, my girlfriend has lived here for 2 years. My experience has been positive overall. The apartments are very nice, but overpriced. Our neighbors have been nice, no bad experiences. The pool, parking garage, and landscape are all above average for the area. They have grills behind the building, and at the pool.

Okay place to live

Convenient location and the apartments look great, but the price is really high and we've had semi-frequent fire alarms.

Great Building

Usually is pretty clean, fast service if you need anything done. Management is pretty on top of things and very courteous staff for the most part. Would highly recommend for people to move here. Rent can be high from time to time. The saltwater pool is great!

Getting around Piedmont Heights

Piedmont Heights Reviews

5 reviews
Mostly residential, 3 minutes away from Midtown and Virginia Highlands. Walking distance to Piedmont park, the new part of the beltline, groceries, Starbucks, Orpheus Brewery, Smith's Olde Bar, restaurants, etc.
I am able to walk to my work in midtown. Its not quite done yet, but when the belt-line development reaches this zone, it will be easily accessible. Traffic can be a concision. Easy access to the interstate though.
Pros:
close to EVERYTHING
lots of culture
so many things to do
pedestrian friendly
friendly neighbors
pet friendly
Cons:
crime has gone up last few years
traffic
expensive
Midtown is a great place to live. I've lived on the north side just next to Piedmont Heights for four years. I am walking distance to Ansley Mall, MARTA, and Piedmont Park. It's a gorgeous area and a simple connection to get onto Buford Highway to I-75 or I-85. Highly recommend if you're looking for the in-town experience.
Ansley Park is a safe, family-friendly, dog-friendly neighborhood with convenient access to midtown Atlanta. Tons of access to outdoor space and plenty of convenient shopping.
