Bertland Review

Management very nice and responsive. Large space and the closet is huge! The apartment also has very nice beautiful looking cabinets. My apartment faces the alley so I don't get a lot of sun but I am sure that other sides of the building would get more sunlight than mine. I don't have a pet but other people in the building do.

Bertland-Integrity Management

Overall, I have had a decent experience at the Bertland building. My only issue occurred over the winter when the management company realized they told me the wrong rent and I was underpaying for 5 months. They made me pay the missing amount before they would accept any further rent payments from me and I felt their treatment of the situation was unfair. Otherwise, they are generally pretty responsive to requests and I have had a good experience. The apartment itself is clean and well maintained with much character. The only other thing I dislike is that it's very expensive, strictly due to location. I was paying the same amount before coming to school when I had a full time job. My previous apartment had a lot more amenities and free parking. It seems ridiculous that as a full time student with no job, I pay more for rent and parking now than before.

Great neighborhood, walkable to Case

Bertland has a lot going for it and little to dislike. The 1920s building is well kept. The hardwood floors in our apartment were redone recently and there are some nice built in cabinets. Part of the Cedar-Fairmount neighborhood, there are plenty of resources close by, including a grocery store, several cafes and a variety of restaurants. Management at Integrity is consistently responsive. Perhaps the only downsides are a smaller than standard refrigerator and a slow water heater.

Well lit, convenient location and great landlord

Have lived here for 2 years now. The unit is in good shape -- it has plenty of windows, nice hardwood floors, good plumbing and a dishwasher. Integrity Heights has always been very responsive and maintenance requests have always been handled very promptly. The location is very convenient for UH and CCF. Starbucks, Dave's groceries and a few restaurants are a 3 min walk away.

Quiet and spacious

Great sized apartment, value is great. Kitchen a little small and could use a little bit more sunlight. But overall great apartment. Unfortunately no indoor parking spaces available.
