Shaker Square Apartments Management - not the best

Buildings in Cleveland have lots of character, but are very old (1930's). The apartments are fairly spacious and a great value compared to the East Coast, but the kitchens could be larger and could have more counter/storage space. Management is very responsive when they're interested in you as a prospective resident. Once you sign a lease, they are significantly less responsive and it takes multiple residents' complaints to get them to fix problems with the buildings.

-Well-priced
-Spacious
-Heated, covered parking ($75/month)

Weaknesses
-Pest control
-Maintenance (something is *always* broken)
-Safety (electric wiring in building is out-dated. I have been told by maintenance staff that there is a legitimate risk of fire)
