Affordable, updated apartments
Nice apartments did cheap rent! Within walking distance within everything in Ohio city. The only thing I’d change is there’s only street parking

Nice apartment with maintenance/renovation issues
Positives: I love living in Ohio City - the location of this apartment is great, and the units are small but well laid out. They take pets for a $30/month fee. The units were renovated less than two years ago, so the kitchen, bathroom, and floors are nice and new. There's a combined washer/dryer in the unit.
Cons: No utilities are included at all (not even water), so that adds a little to your bills. The units aren't well-insulated - I can feel cold air blowing from the bottom of the baseboards, and there are no storm windows. There are no closet doors, which we were told was a "design choice," so all of your clothes and stuff are visible and can look messy. The biggest issue I've had with this place is that they decided to "fix" all of the heaters (mine was working fine), and in the process, they left exposed ductwork, holes in the ceiling, and a bunch of wires running across the ceiling. They refuse to put it back to its original condition. They also installed a useless "backup" second heating system, so there are now random electric heating panels in all the rooms. The apartment was very nice-looking last year, but now with all this wiring and random heaters, it doesn't look so great. They did this in every unit in the entire building because whoever installed the original heating system two years ago used the wrong wires or ducts or something and they had to replace it all.
