Incredible location!

AMLI has been a great place to live during my last 2 years of medical school. I can easily bike to Grady and Midtown hospitals (as well as Emory - just a bit further but on the beautiful Freedom Parkway trail!) and am very close to lots of great social activities (the belt line, Piedmont park, bars/restaurants/ coffee shops, and many of my classmates!). It is more expensive than I would like to pay, but the location has tons of growth and it is definitely "the place to be" in the city. Apartment is beautiful with great amenities. There are many safety mechanisms in place and I always feel safe, but there have been a few incidents (I think a bit inevitable in a city with rapid growth and turnover...). I would recommend especially for later years in med school as the close location to clinical sites helps immensely!

AMLI Parkside is great

I love Old 4th Ward. It is quiet but more walkable than midtown. A ton to do. Also, my apartment has great management. Maintenance fixes everything within a day or two.

Great Complex, Horrible Business Next Door

Apartment is great, neighborhood is amazing. The only negative is the Aramark next door that makes a racket from 3am-7am every weekday.

Great for Students and Young Professionals

I’m an Emory Law Student who lives in this area because my roommate works Downtown and I was interested in expanding beyond the Druid Hills area. The commute is easy and SO worth the location. I love the building, amenities, and community. It’s been wonderful!

Amli Parkside, the place for you!

Really love the apartment complex! The best part about it is the administration, they are super friendly and super responsive to any concerns. The office is also open every day. The package room is fantastic and doesn't have any extra fees or anything if you leave your package in there longer. Utilities are reasonable, the water/sewage bill is only a few dollars. There is plenty of parking. Best of all, it is so close to Inmark park, Historic Old Fourth Ward park, Ponce City Market, and Krog City Market. Like all within 15-20 min walking distance or less!

AMLI Parkside

I decided to live at AMLI Parkside for its location and I plan to remain here barring any other changes for the remainder of residency. It's a very short drive to Grady and Midtown hospitals (less than 5 minutes in the mornings), but a little further to Emory/VA. It's also very close to Old Fourth Ward Park and the Beltline which make getting out and being active very easy. Both Ponce City Market and Krog Street Market are within walking distance on the Belt Line, as well as local restaurants/pubs like A Mano, Bantam, and Venkman's, so going out for dinner or for a drink is pretty easy too. You also get an AMLI Perks card which gets you discounts/deals at different places. Lastly, they host frequent free happy hours with the other AMLI buildings around O4W.

In terms of the apartment, the rooms are pretty spacious with in-unit laundry, all the kitchen appliances, and AT&T Fiber internet available. Our apartment faces the park so we have a nice view as well. The area historically wasn't the greatest in terms of safety but it's gotten safer in the past few years -- there are several AMLI buildings in the area and they share a security detail at night. There have been reports of crime in the area, mainly car break-ins outside and one ground floor apartment break-in where the tenant left their patio door unlocked. We have secure garages and there are key access doors even coming from the garage as well. I got an apartment not on the ground floor and I certainly feel safe. The apartment gym was recently renovated -- it's small, but has everything I need as a resident. There's also a free coffee machine that's great to have to fill-up before heading out, a pool with good sunlight, and grill areas.

There are a lot of residents here and the rest of the people living here tend to be people in their late 20s to early 30s - I've rarely had a problem with any neighbors in terms of noise.

Lastly, they have specials for people who are employed by Emory ($500 off first month) and if you are referred by a current resident, you can get some more free rent.

Great location and still close to campus

Not only is Amli Parkside in a great location (minutes from the Beltline and Ponce City Market) - it's a great value for those on a student budget. Management is nice and any service requests are typically handled within 24 hours. You also have the benefit of going against traffic when commuting to/from campus.

Living next to Ponce City Market is a huge bonus! Great place for shopping and buying gifts but also for quick delish dinners. Many other great restaurants are within walking distance on the beltline and surrounding. OFW is also very close to Inman Park where a lot of the restaurants are located. It is also a short 20 minute walk to Krog Street Market which is similar to Ponce City Market and has a lot of good food stands and restaurants.
Up and coming neighborhood that’s very walkable. Very fun to walk in the neighborhoods and see cute 100 year old houses next to modern construction. Close to all the hospitals.
The best neighborhood in Atlanta. Feels safer than midtown. Feels quiet. Very walkable with a ton of bars and restaurants.
A neighborhood that's constantly growing. The park is a jewel -- there's places to go for runs, peaceful runs, and to play with pets. It's at the heart of the beltline with Ponce City Market on one side, Krog Street Market on the other, and new places like Common Grounds and New Realm in the middle. You won't have high-rises here like in Midtown, but you'll have the space to move around and have a lot of great neighborhood places to hang out.
Old Fourth Ward is awesome - it has an urban feel and hasn't been entirely gentrified, which I like, and they've done a good job of taking some of the older buildings and repurposing them to keep some of the soul of the place. I fear they're going to go too far with it, but for now, it's awesome. So close to restaurants, bars, shopping, parks, basically everything you could think of. That said, you do have to be careful at night - we've had some crime in the neighborhood, but as long as you're mindful, you should be OK.
Ponce City Market, plenty of places to eat, several parks and the Beltline and all in this neighborhood. The downside is that LOTS of festivals and event are held in the area so roads will close and there is a ton of noise and foot traffic when it happens.
I love it here - lots of bars and restaurants, the BeltLine is right here, and it's very walkable. It's also between the hospitals - Grady and Midtown are a 5-10 min drive, and Emory and the VA are more like 20-30.
Such a great neighborhood for young students and families. There are great restaurants and opportunities to socialize (while socially-distancing!)
