Clean, prompt maintenance, very friendly staff, safe, good location. Can’t ask for much more from a living space.

Apartment is within walking distance of Mercy which is one block away and less than 10 min drive to the main UMMC hospital, 5 min drive to Midtown. Management, front desk and maintenance are all very friendly and attentive. Did not have any issues. Also love the high ceilings and large windows.

The building is kept very clean, and the front desk staff are always friendly. My apartment is in perfect condition, with high ceilings, and lots of sunlight. The only downsides are no in unit laundry and parking is across the street so you have to walk outside. I never hear my neighbors, though there are a lot of sirens outside being so close to Mercy.

Internet should be included in the rent. Location is not good since it's far from the inner harbor. The management team isn't flexible and hard to reach sometimes. No close-by supermarkets. Park Charles or other apartments would be better options for food searching.

The Standard is located in a very nice neighborhood where i feel safe walking around during the day and at night time. The apt rent includes all utilities (except for cable) which is a plus. Unfortunately, one of the cons about it is that there is no in-unit washer and dryer. The community laundry room is located on the 1st floor and the basement which makes doing laundry very much a hassle. Other than that, it is a nice, clean and friendly apartment complex.

Rent is already high and want their tenants to pay for parking. Parking garage isnt easy to drive b/c it is tight and easily can get into an accident with other drivers. No mirrors installed too see other drivers while turning in the tight garage b/c the standard claims it is too expensive to install.

Close to inner harbor (0.8 miles away and a quick walk) and all that Mount Vernon has to offer. Right next to the Hopkins shuttle. Free coffee bar daily from 5:30 am to 9 pm. Luxurious but affordable; trash chutes on all floors with front desk who will sign for your packages.

I have been living at the Standard for a little over six months at this point, and I love it! I share a two bedroom apartment with a roommate and we always talk about how comfortable the apartment is. The kitchen is fully equipped and has beautiful countertops. There's even a pantry and an additional hall closet. The two private bathrooms is a major bonus. The only complaint I would have is the classic beige carpet throughout the apartment. For rent that appears to increase by the year, it would be nice to feature hardwood in the living spaces of the apartment as well. Otherwise, this is a great community. The Standard has a lounge, office center, gym, two laundry rooms, and lots of space for residents to enjoy. The staff is also excellent and always willing to help residents (shout out to the front desk workers!).
