Scott's Addition — 9/10 Rating (based on 6 neighborhood reviews)
Scott's Addition is a great up-and-coming neighborhood in Richmond. Scott's definitely has more of a young professional vibe to it, which I like much better than other neighborhoods, like the Fan or the West End, which I feel like are either overflowing with college students or families. Scott's Addition is home to tons of breweries and restaurants, leaving plenty to do on your days off. The only downside to living in Scott's is that it is still a very new area. As a result, there are still some seedy areas and lots of construction, making safety an issue at times, especially at night as a single girl living alone. With that being said, I have not personally experienced any issues where I have felt threatened or unsafe.

Scott's Addition is one of the most hip neighborhoods in Richmond right now, very up-and-coming renovated warehouse vibes with so many breweries, new fun restaurants, and gyms/boutique fitness studios. It's also very walkable to other parts of downtown, like The Fan, Carytown, and Downtown VCU.

There are a lot of fun brewery, cider places, and really great restaurants! It's close to the freeway entrance and it's generally a really safe area. There aren't many trees and absolutely no greenspace though.
