Medical Center Court
This is a solid apartment by most means, but it feels expensive for what I'm getting. I don't have any major complaints outside of the fact that each rent check hurts my wallet big time.

Medical Center Court
Proximity to the hospital is hard to beat.
Expect an extra $100 or so per month in surprise fees (water, trash services, ect)
Management is mostly helpful and reasonably responsive.
There is currently significant construction adjacent which is frequently loud and disruptive.
Parking is included, but is unassigned and can be difficult to find if arriving late in the evening.
The “gym” has a couple free weights (up to 30lbs), a tread mill and a broken elliptical. Several pieces of equipment are broken to the point of being dangerous, and there are no plates available for the Olympic bar that lives in the corner.
Closet space is a strong point.
It is dated and far overpriced for its quality, but Ann Arbor is an expensive city in general - you are paying for the convenience to the hospital.

Great Location
Really close to the med school! I wake up 30 minutes before class. Runs a bit pricier than ideal but management is wonderful and the apartment is great.

Med center resident
I love living in Med center. The maintenance and office correspondence is incredibly prompt and management is super considerate.

Very convenient
Great customer service (Dorian is amazingly prompt and responsive), good value (w/ free parking for everyone who signs the lease). The only drawback is the place is a little small, but for most med students this probably won't be a problem.

Excellent response times
The property is well-maintained and everyone is the office is super friendly and responsive. There are a lot of other dog owners in the area, which is a huge benefit to me.

Great management and one of the cheaper options nearby
Management is wonderful. They know my roommate and I by name and are very responsive. I've never had to wait longer than 30 minutes for even minor repairs. The apartment building itself is a little older and does not have the greatest insulation or aesthetics, but overall the experience has been great. Although there might be 1-2 cheaper apartments nearby, we chose to pay a small amount extra because of the management issues at other apartments. Overall this apartment is on the cheaper side of options still. Parking can get competitive at night sometimes, but there are after hours spots nearby (across the street) for the rare times when a spot in the back lot is no available. We are a 10-15 minute walk from med campus, and we are also located next to a bus stop that drops off at Taubman which has been convenient. They are very pet-friendly (even dogs which is rare to find).

Med Center Review
I've lived here for four years and have had an overall very positive experience. It's quiet and convenient to the hospital and jogging path around the river.
One potential negative is that construction just started on some condos nextdoor. The apartments that face the construction (a minority) could be quite loud.

About as good as you can get
Overall, this is a solid but old apartment complex. Management and utilities have always been very responsive for me. Rent is expensive, but not out of line relative to the general pricing in the housing market here. Excellent location near two parks and the medical complex. Walls are thin, but I have a corner unit, which minimizes issues. Parking is very convenient and I have never struggled to find a spot to park.
