I love living in Axis, but it's probably expensive if you're using loans to pay for it and would recommend finding a roommate. The property is usually well maintained and the rooms are very nice. The community is friendly and has quite a few McKinney students living there. The walk to class is short and having direct access to Kroger is very clutch. You won't regret living here, just make sure it's financially feasible!

Typical corporate landlord. Amenities break often and management is not quick with fixes, neither is maintenance. Dog park is phenomenal — it’s a great community and really convenient. Location is worth it: directly above the Kroger and only 3 blocks from the law school.

My personal unit is great, but there is constantly maintenance being done on the rest of the building and the elevators break all the time.

The building is great! So are the amenities! It is more expensive but the walk to McKinney is very quick and it’s directly above Kroger which is nice. The office staff is very passive and won’t really help you with their package organization but usually it’s just on the floor in the mail room.

I love my apartment complex. Since I live alone safety is extremely important to me and axis is the safest apartmenr that i has looked at! I love how the parking garage has 2 gates (a full door and a bar) and you just have a key fob to ge in thru every entrance of the building. It has a nice gym and beautiful pool too! I like in a studio but there’s a huge wall that separates my bedroom from my kitchen and living room which I love.

Very nice apartment with good amenities, but maintenance is not professional and can never solve issues. Also building has random issues like fire alarm going off for no reason or trash piled up in the halls.

This is hands down the nicest apartment complex in the city. It’s almost all doctors and medical students. There is free coffee, there are 6 different places to study on property, including a designated study room. There is also free printing

This is my first apartment and I am absolutely in love with it. I love my apartment and my floor plan so much. I have a 2 bedroom and it's about 1850 sq feet with a walk-in closet, in-unit washer and dryer, 2 bathrooms (1 w/ walk-in shower and 1 w/ double sink & bathtub). The living room is spacious and the balcony is the perfect size to fit furniture to sit and enjoy mild days. I face senate ave and so my view is my favorite view. The amenities are great. There's a pool (beautiful, resort-style), dog park, courtyard w/ fire pit, sky bar, 24hr gym, lobby with pool table, coffee machine, another game idk the name of, and plenty of space to have social events or study. There's also a study room, printing, and conference room upstairs. I feel very safe at this apartment and they have in-garage parking with a garage gate that ensures only residents get in. We also live on top of kroger which makes moving in and grocery shopping super convenient. It's also within walking distance of everything on IUPUI's campus, especially the medical campus as well as the downtown Indianapolis nightlife. Overall, 10/10 would recommend.
