I love living here

It is safe, clean, and a great area. I love living in Locust Point and in Mchenry Row. I used to live in The ReNew Mt. Vernon and it was a horrible experience. I am much happier here

McHenry Row

I love living at the Row. Its convenient access to 95 and all things downtown. It's more quiet that Federal Hill, but close enough to enjoy it when I want to. The building is always clean, and the staff is very friendly. All the residents are welcoming and friendly as well. Only good things to say!

Excellent location

The apartments at McHenry Row are an amazing place to live. With a Harris Teeter grocery store across the street and dry cleaning, nail salon, sports bar, and pizza place literally downstairs, the location is tough to beat. Management and building amenities are also top notch - couldn't recommend this place more highly.

Living at McHenry Row

Overall experience was good until Management company switched from Bozzuto to Greystar. New Management company seemed to lack a knack for empathy with residents and things got progressively dirtier during the switch. It very well may have been due to a changing of the guard, but during this time my wife and I were looking to buy and were in limbo. The new management company was very unwilling to accommodate pricing for a month to month scenario.

Great location, but over-priced

When my fiance and I first moved in, we snagged a studio for $1200/month - pricey, but we loved the location. Over the two years we lived there, rent went up to almost $1500, and they started charging us for parking for both cars. The previous management company allowed residents to park in the open part of the garage, but the new management started ticketing if you didn't pay to park in the cordoned-off private area. Mind, this garage was only ever at 50% capacity. Bozzutto was great, but after GreyStar took over we decided not to renew our lease. Their policies just seemed stingy and it never felt like they cared about residents.

Locust Point Reviews

It's very safe. Great to walk around and see the sights. Pet friendly location.
Locust Point is one of the most adorable neighborhoods in Baltimore. Easily safe to run/walk around at night, full of dog parks and corner bars, lots of neighborhoody activities. It's still got a very community feel to it despite all of the commercial building that is happening in the area. There are many young families as well as people who have lived here for generations.
