Very good managed building with a dorm-like feel
Generally, I have loved 2116. Over half of my friends live in the building, and every morning I see tens of Wharton students in the elevator, sharing ubers to class. The building itself is nice and fairly new. The apartments are very spacious and have amazing light (the windows are floor to ceiling around the entire building). Some of the appliances required some repair (dryer), but the handyman is extremely nice and came quickly to fix them. The only con is that the building is very loud.

Great building - lots of Wharton MBAs
I have really enjoyed living at 2116 Chestnut. The business center, gym, common area, and patio are top notch. Also, the staff is wonderful - always kind and happy to help if you need something (i.e. some sort of maintenance). The apartments are in great condition and the views are beautiful. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but potential residents should know that a large portion of the building is comprised of Wharton MBA students. In my opinion, these students are not disruptive.

Great location, Lots of Wharton students!
Have really enjoyed living in this building; I have lots of friends living here as well, which makes getting together easy. The common space in the building is great for hosting large parties and get togethers.

Review
The maintenance is quick and very responsive. The amenities are fantastic. The building also tends to plan rather frequent little activities/events with food/drinks, which is a plus.

Apt review
Outstanding location and amenities. Very nice luxury clean apartments. Maintenance excellent as is management and remainder of staff. Love the location - near great restaurants/gyms/cafes/bars, 20 minutes walk from the hospital, ~5 minute walk to Rittenhouse Square. On the pricier side.

Love the building, very expensive
I love everything about living at 2116 chestnut, except for the rent. My apartment is new, updated, clean, floor to ceiling windows, large closets, has a doorman, and includes a great gym and amenity floor. It is a quick walk to work (~20 min from CHOP/Penn). The management is excellent, and fixes anything that breaks within a day. It is very quiet, I have never heard a peep from my neighbors or upstairs. My only gripe is the rent. My unit is a corner unit on a high floor with a balcony, so you could find a 1BR on a lower floor for a little bit cheaper.

Fitler Square Reviews
That being said I did notice that most students lived on the side of the school!
There are residents without housing in the neighborhood. They're good people and new residents should be respectful of them and their belongings.
Cons: Trader Joe's is the only real grocery store here and may have limited selection for those looking for a supermarket; not as quiet or "neighborhood-y" as other areas, as it is in the heart of downtown; there is a freight train that runs along the river that can be loud, though I got used to it quickly
