Great apartment reasonable prices
The apartment building is really nice and the prices are reasonable for so many amenities and to live alone without roommates. There are multiple large open spaces to bring friends and a rooftop pool, gym, and movie screening room. The difference in price over on campus housing is more than worth it.

Good spot
Plenty of staff, good location. It's huge, so there are package mixups and slow elevators

Nice Amenities, Annoying Rules
I do really like living here, but the management isn't the best. The pools, gym, and study room are so nice. My apartment itself is really nice. Maintenance fixes issues within a few hours.
Management does not communicate with us about anything. They also have stupid rules that you just have to follow like no guest parking and only one key fob per person, etc.
Overall, it is really nice, but it could work better.

Absolutely love it, but it’s pricy
The best apartment in DTLA in my opinion. Two pools, communal areas, coffee machine, constantly being cleaned, gym that feels like Equinox, etc. If you’re willing to pay the premium to live here and pay for all your utilities and parking, it’s 100% worth it. I’d suggest maybe getting a 2 bedroom with a friend.

Great apartment for a single law student
Terrific apartment with a killer location in DTLA. Being right above a Whole Foods makes a big difference in saving money on eating out because it's so easy to buy groceries. Neighborhood is safe and convenient for commuting. Only downside is that the fire alarms in the building can be a little *too* responsive, so might not be best if you're sensitive to loud noises.

Quiet friendly complex
Great location and great property management. Only downside is the price, which is pretty standard for the area. No complaints.

Eighth & Grand
The building is very modern, has great amenities, and is very conveniently located in downtown with easy access to public transportation and is next door to Whole Foods.

Good
The building is beautiful and in a great location. The amenities are also great to take advantage of, but can be very busy at times. The communications efforts from building management are quite poor.

8th & grand
A 2 bedroom at 8th & Grand is more expensive than $1300 but the former roommates paid to build a wall in the living room to split the rent 3 ways. They have huge living rooms so the third room is a good size.
