Love it
It's great, quiet, and gym downstairs and a pool. Close to Trader Joe's, Georgetown, and Whole Foods.

Incredible Deal
This was an incredible apartment for a steal! It included parking, gym, pool, 24 hr concierge w/package services, and most utilities. The only things we had to pay for on top of this were electricity and internet which came out to about $130 a month combined. The location is perfectly situated about a 15 min walk from campus, and is right next to a Trader Joe’s. Overall would recommend to any student!

Great place
Definitely on the expensive side, but management is great, the tenants are quiet. Most people here are families or professionals (few students) so there are no parties or loud noises. It's very close to Trader Joe's and within 5 min walking of Safeway and Whole Foods. The Georgetown GUTS bus stops right in front of the building, which is amazing.

Beware of non-refundable charges
Beware of Move-In and Move-Out Fee of $200 each NonRefundable plus $750 check to hand both time in case you damage walls, elevator, etc. If you ask plumbing elc issue they charge $600 (MayPlumming) just to come up and turn the water on and off, to give an opinion that's before fixing anything, no joke. I lived there for a year and before I moved out they asked for a check of $200, saying that is going to be cashed ONLY if anything damaged during move out, which didn't happen so I thought all fine. 48 days after I moved-out they cashed it, 48 days later I am gone! When I reached out the Manager said ohh this was nonrefundable despite both her front desk agents said otherwise. I am never asked for move-in nor for $750, and that $200 was said not going to be cashed but of course they lied. Of course despite trying to reach out again she just ignored. Other than location nothing worth there.

Beware of unannounced fees
Beware of Move-In and Move-Out Fee of $200 each NonRefundable plus $750 check to hand both time in case you damage walls, elevator, etc. Also call your own handyman if need to as their one (May Plumming) charges $600 for 4people to come and turn all the water on to see if there is a clog, that's without fixing anything! New management is rude. I lived there for a year and before I moved out they asked for a check of $200, saying that is going to be cashed ONLY if anything damaged during move out, which didn't happen so I thought all fine. 48 days after I moved-out they cashed it, 48 days after I am gone! When I reached out the new manager said ohh this was Non-Refundable despite both her front desk agents said otherwise. I am never asked for move-in nor for $750, and that $200 was said not going to be cashed so not sure when she came up with these fees. But nevertheless I shouldn't have been charged after 48 days. Of course despite trying to reach out again she just ignored. Other than location nothing worth there.

Good value
Nice quiet neighborhood, no Metro station but reasonably easy to get around by bus/walking/biking. Management is OK but takes a while to get things fixed around the building. Decent amenities (pool, gym, doorman 24/7). Apartment is well laid out with lots of storage space.

Modern and in a great location
Not great metro accessibility in Glover Park, so I have to take the bus to get into DC. However, there are a ton of different buses that come down Wisconsin so I never have to wait longer than 5 minutes for a bus. Otherwise, the building is relatively modern and has a great location (between a Whole Foods and a Safeway). There's a pretty good gym in the building, plus a Balance Gym about two hundred feet away from the building.

The Observatory
The building is quiet, in a great location, with decent amenities. Some apartments are newly renovated. They're well laid out. There's underground parking, which is extremely safe and practical. It's a short walk to Whole Foods, Safeway, and Georgetown. The Georgetown shuttle stops right in front of the building every 15 minutes or so.

Observatory Condominiums of Georgetown
I absolutely love living here! My unit comes with access to the gym in the building, the outdoor pool (open in the summer), parking in the garage below the building, ~3 minute walk to the grocery store, and ~12 minute walk to school. The people who work at the front desk in the lobby are so friendly! It is also a quiet environment, which is great for studying!
