Quiet, forested complex
We're really fond of our apartment at the Park at Monterey Oaks. The unit is spacious, homey, and well-maintained. The complex is on what used to be a ranch, and is full of older oak trees--an irreplaceable and imitable quality. We often use the walking trail, pool, gym, and picnic areas.
It's not inexpensive (but, it is Austin), but we appreciate the private yard and garage. Some qualities and features were over-hyped or sold when we first toured. Otherwise, the office staff has been kind, responsive, and professional. Maintenance needs handled well and promptly. We're glad we're here.
