Good location
Located close enough to Ross, the Stadium and downtown. Nice gym and the in-unit washer dryer is super helpful

The Yard
It is a bit pricey, but very worth it in my opinion. New appliances, very safe, great parking garage to keep snow off my car in winter, high quality gym. The only thing that was tricky about move it was that you had to have a group of people you wanted to live with. They can't place you with other MBAs on request.

Nice but loud
This property has nice amenities and a lot of students live there which is good for meeting people when it's cold outside. However, there are also a lot of undergraduate students which I did not expect. Overall, it can be loud. When the weather is warm, don't expect to be able to study at home or to get much sleep without earplugs. The walls are thin and the noise from the courtyard can be too much.
The shuttle is nice but it also assumes you will not be at school late - you will.

Amenities are great but it's right next to the train tracks
If your room is facing the train tracks, it can get very loud. The train passing by will honk and wake you up early in the morning. The walls are also very, very thin. You can hear people in the kitchen from your room. But it's nice to have an in-house washer/dryer unit and not have to worry about furniture.

Great place, but costly
Yard is a nice place to stay with good amenities. Rent is a bit costly though.

Easy living
Overall, I enjoy living here. I love having my own bathroom. It's a 15-minute walk or less to Ross and Ford, and there's also a very convenient shuttle that goes to and from campus. The amenities such as the gym and in-unit washer/dryer are very nice to have. Many Ross MBA students live here so that makes for easy socializing. There are many undergrads here as well. During the summer, the courtyard can be loud. Also beware of living on the side of the building next to the train tracks. The HVAC system is not well designed.
