Bristol West End

Clean apartment with decent amenities. The best thing about it is the close proximity to campus. The building manager is strict but fair so everything runs smoothly.

Pretty solid apartment and building overall. Close to campus and to the Parking Lot with a regular shuttle system. Rooms and common area in our 2B2B are very spacious (roommate and I never had issues with someone taking up too much space). Many residents here are med students, so we're all very respectful of noise levels (even on Fridays/weekends). A couple of fourth-floor residents do deal with pest problems, however (bats). And I've heard that issue has been difficult to resolve with management.

It is a 10-15 minute walk away from campus and there is a shuttle stop across the street that takes you right to EBL, which is very convenient. There are a lot of med students who live here! The apartment is spacious, and I have not had any problems with pests. The gym is small but has all the basics and the Vandy rec center is only a few minutes away. Parking is included in rent and the security seems good. Management is the only big issue - the property manager is not the nicest and they are not very responsive. You can also hear all the noise from the stadiums and there are events that happen in the parking lot across the street.

Being able to walk to campus within 15 minutes is an unparalleled luxury. The medical center shuttle leaves from the parking lot right outside Bristol and is super convenient too. Excellent pest control at Bristol as well. Cannot recommend it more.

Clean, good management, nice outdoor space, gym for recreational use, lots of medical students.

A bit dingy in spots, so the decor isn't the best. Fortunately, I don't really care all too much about that stuff.

Bristol is very convenient and close to campus + hospital, can walk no matter what year/rotation given proximity. Also has free covered parking, water and garbage included. The amenities are average (small gym, pool often out of service) and management can be difficult to work with/can be strict and will issue fines. I've lived here all 4 years given the location and affordable price, but as prices are increasing, it's making these units less worth it.

Worry free housing with a gym, clubhouse, and packages delivered to front door. Great sense of community as well with other med students
