Fine Apartment, Walkable, Management Not Great but not Awful
Nice enough building, responsive maintenance. Management has improved but the building hosts airbnb type rentals and all the money/focus clearly is on those. Renovations are for those rooms and sometimes continue into the evenings which can be distracting.

Good, close to campus, usually quiet.

Solid in many ways but I’ll probably move
Overall there is a lot to like about this apartment. Nice staff, ok amenities (pool, smallish but solid gym, coffee machines), generally clean, and very close to Owen (10 min walk). However, management has also made a number of small but inconvenient changes that I dislike (such as switching our fobs which open every door to an application where you have to scroll through an enormous list to find the door you want to unlock, and then offering to sell us fobs). Overall seems like they find lots of ways to nickel and dime you. Parking $100 per month. Mandatory “valet trash” and “package courier” fees. With utilities, my total rent is probably $4-500 higher.
There are some good restaurants close by but if you want to be in the middle of the action the fun bars and stuff are across campus, closer to Owen (still only ~15 min walk from here). I’ll probably move to that area next year but if you want a quieter experience this isn’t a terrible option.

Great Place to live- especially if you have pets
I love living at Elliston. I have two large dogs and they also love it. My apartment is newly renovated and is like brand new, but without the horrible new construction noise . I lived in new construction in Bellevue and could hear EVERYTHING my neighbors were doing. I'm sure they also could hear my dogs. I haven't heard my neighbors here once so 10/10 on the sound here. Sometimes I hear street noise but nothing unreasonable. Overall great gym and really nice pool. They also just put in a pickle ball court so that's cool.

Walkable & Safe
Nice building, nice amenities. Pretty walk through campus to my classes in Peabody. Right next to Centennial Park & lots of restaurants. Building is made of concrete so you never hear any noise. Balconies available. Maintenance always responsive and effective without waiting long at all. Only complaint is the price tag.

Very good apartment building, good location, 12 minute walk to Owen, plenty of restaurants and stools within walking distance. Helpful and professional management. Good sized pool and pool area. Nice resident lounge, small gym.

Expensive, Loud, but Management is Getting Better
I’ve lived in two units over the last couple years. The model units are nice but upon moving in both units had paint on the carpets, random construction leftovers, disconnected washers/dryers, clogged drains, leaking pipes, and broken electrical outlets and appliances. Management is getting more attentive but early on it was hard to get any contact with them. The company also has changed every few months, but it seems like the new management is in for the long haul and hopefully improving service.
The biggest issue is that a large portion of the units are air BnBs. This can result in loud parities at all hours and very crowded amenities. There is now a courtesy officer on site for noise complaints so this might get better, but it makes studying and exam season absolutely miserable. They are also in the process of converting more units into air BnBs.

Not impressed
This location is great because it is within walking distance of campus and its location in the city. You have great proximity to restaurants and Centennial park. The management of this apartment complex has not been very helpful during my time, and I have had 3 different ownership groups take over in a year and a half. The property upkeep is not kept clean. And there have been a lot of issues with car break ins due to a lack of security cameras and continuously broken parking gates.
