Cooper Village
Very close to the medical school so it is super convenient. Maintenance requests are promptly addressed. The biggest issue is with receiving packages as there isn't a central location but it's manageable because the school has a mailing room which students are able to use.

Nice place, super convenient
Not super bougie but it’s nice. Comes fully furnished and maintenance replies pretty quickly. The best part is how close it is to the school. I can walk out and be right there

Apartment is Great Value - Just Not The Area
As a medical student, it is very convenient for me to just cross the street to attend classes. The location is not as amazing, given you are on one of the main throughfares of Camden. There are lots of police around, though. For the price, it is not terrible. The apartment itself is modern, given it was constructed a little less then 10 years ago. The primary issue is the area. I hope to see this improve in the coming years.

Review
Apartment is a good size and was quite clean when we moved in. One bedroom (and its respective closet) is a bit smaller than the other. Bedrooms and bathrooms are pretty spacious, as are the kitchen and living room. Had a pretty bad fruit fly problem, but we got rid of them after a couple weeks. Other tenants seem to also struggle with that problem. Good temperature control.

Poor Management- cockroaches!
Last year, my roommate and I had a cockroach infestation right from when we moved in. We had called the exterminator twice, yet after 2 treatments we still had cockroaches. We had provided tons of video evidence. It took hiring a lawyer for them to allow us to break our lease. What bothered me the most was that the landlord tried to blame us for bringing the cockroaches from our family homes rather than believing the cockroaches were already in Camden... and not once did we receive a natural apology. I understand that living in Camden comes with some caveats, but I would've appreciated at least some kindness and consideration from the management.

Can’t beat convenience
I really like it here. It’s super convenient to the school and hospital which is vital. The inside of the apartment has everything I need - furniture, washer, dryer, dishwasher, central A/C. I also feel safe because there is always ample law enforcement and security presence in this area.

Great apartment, absurd pricing
The apartment itself is great. It is well maintained and has new appliances and features, but the pricing is very high. Comparable apartments and town houses on our same street charge $450-500 per month in rent, making our $900+ per person per month rent super high!

Convenient for Camden Students
If you are a medical student at Cooper and are trying to find the easiest and most convenient housing option, this is your place. It doesn't get much better then a relatively new building being right across the medical school. There are no fancy amenities apart from the cafe located at ground level. Parking is through the school, but it is convenient. Most people end up going to Philly after their first year, but this is a good place to start off.
