Great Apartment, Poor for Commuting

I moved into this apartment during the pandemic for a remote school year. I liked it enough that I wanted to give commuting a try and because I wanted to continue living in Pasadena as things opened back up. As much as I like living where I do (better than anywhere on the Westside, as far as I'm concerned), commuting for an hour and a half a day to and from UCLA is a big time sink.

Expensive but great location

The rent is on the higher side, but I have far more space than I would living closer to campus. Good location for remote learning because I live so close to Old Town Pasadena.
