The Hartley at Blue Hill

I've really enjoyed living at the Hartley! Really nice size, great gym, and great distance to Ephesus park and McColl.

The Hartley is a luxury apartment where you get what you pay for. It's a new building but starting to fill up recently. Last year (2023), the capacity was around 50% but now starting to feel closer to 90%. The general resident is a graduate student with or without a roommate, young working professional, and a handful of families with young kids. My only complaint is hearing the people above us walking/stomping, but I'm sure that is similar to all neighboring apartments. The staff are amazing and super responsive. All of the amenities are amazing and covers all of your basic needs.

Lot my unit, management is really nice, my biggest complaint is my AC unit rattles and often breaks

Great Apartment and management

The Hartley is Chapel Hill's newest apartment and is located in an ideal spot. Close to numerous grocery stores, restaurants, and a major shopping center. The Hartley is less than 3 miles to KFBS, and is also on the ideal side of Chapel Hill to easily get to Durham and Raleigh.

It's a new build that isn't fully leased out, so it is pretty quiet. A lot of UNC grad students live here, along with nurses. It's a great complex with really nice management (they know everyone by name). There is also free coffee and tea in the front lobby. No key fob or key, everything is unlocked via phone.

Very solid thus far. New building, so there has been some construction / growing pains, but they are pretty much all sorted out so next year there shouldn't be any issues. Great gym, multiple pools, good study areas, right by a large shopping center, 10 minutes from campus.

The Hartley has a brand new mid rise apartment tower with great amenities and fantastic staff! It is conveniently located near supermarkets, pharmacy, gas station and a short drive away from school. The staff is friendly and helpful! I love The Hartley.

Great staff, brand new, and safe. 10-15 drive to Fuqua.
