Been here going on two years

The location in and of itself is what makes this place ideal. It's fairly close to everything you would need (H-E-B, various restaurants and bars, great schools, and is accessible easily to downtown Austin) There's public transit available close by for those that use Capital Metro, very biker friendly area. The management has gotten better since I moved it, at first it was kind of difficult to get them to do anything if you had an issue but they loved reminding you 3 days before rent was due that it was due. The staff they have now is pretty respectable and the community itself is pretty nice. There's also a dog park close by.

Safe during the day- just be watchful and don't be out alone at night because it's downtown. The huge plus is that the bus for Rowling is RIGHT BY the apartment. HUGE plus.

It's nice to be able to walk to Whole Foods and Trader Joes for groceries. There are a lot of salons and boutique type stores in walking distance. The one downside is that there is no drug store (CVS or Walgreens) in walking distance.

Lady Bird Lake is amazing and about 200 ft. away. The W 6th bar and restaurant scene is great. Bike trails are easily accessible. Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and a bus stop are all within a block.

I love living in Clarksville! It's close enough to Lamar to still enjoy the benefits of living in downtown Austin, but it's quieter and safer. There are great restaurants and bars nearby and plenty of nice coffee shops to study at.
