Great Value
Woodbury is definitely an older complex but the apartments are spacious and they provide free shuttles to and from Ross School of Business.

Great Space for Partners + Dog Owners
We initially picked Woodbury because of its green space and the fact that it seemed a bit quieter than options closer to downtown. While that's definitely a trade-off (not as walkable to campus or nightlife), we've loved living here with our dog!

Good location and neighborhood, poor management
We have had several run-ins with management already where it feels like they don't care about us as tenants. There have been issues with parking, auto-pay, and our rent bill, and it feels like management just doesn't really care.

If you're looking to minimize your loans but still have an MBA community, this is your spot.
Pros:
-Spacious apartments
-Lots of MBAs live here and it's a very friendly neighborhood (great for non-Ross partners looking to make friends)
-Very nice pool and clubhouse
-Cheap
Cons:
-It's a 28 minute walk to Ross, which throws a wrench in "back and forth to school" or going out plans. There is a free shuttle and a bus, but still, it changes the vibe.
-It's an old complex. Very safe, but not super nice in terms of finishes, quality etc.
-The gym is tiny.

We love the quiet & the community
Woodbury, while one of the apartments "farthest" from Ross, is still only a 25 minute walk to school. It has spacious and affordable units in a quiet, comfortable community. Woodbury offers great amenities (e.g., shuttle to school, breakfast during the week, food trucks, etc.) and has a very helpful, responsive management team. The apartments are not overly luxury, but can be made very cozy. The gym is very small, but does offer 2 Pelotons.

Woodbury Gardens - Updated 1Bed-1Bath Apartment (2nd floor)
Nice and well-maintained neighborhood with good amenities. Apartment is comfortable, perfect size for a single occupant, and updated with modern fixtures in the kitchen and bathroom.

I live in a townhouse and like it a lot. Quiet community, thick walls, but lots of people around. Dog park and general area are nice. The shuttle is a lifesaver

I haven't had to go to school in person yet (due to the pandemic) - but once things are back in person, I would use the community shuttle to get to campus and possibly back depending on the time of day I head back. Otherwise, I would take the bus or walk. Walking takes about 30 min but the bus will cut down most of that since there is a city stop right at the entrance to Woodbury.
