Great place, great location

The apartment is great in itself. We have a gym and a pool, and are 1 block from the Ballston metro. Takes only 20 minutes to get into downtown dc, and an average of 20 minutes to Capital One (right in between).

(DC has traffic/metro delays though, it can take longer depending on when you leave.)

Luxurious yet affordable Randolph Towers

As a young couple who lives in Ballston for over 5 years, I have to say we very much enjoy living in Randolph Towers. The building is conveniently located right in the heart of Ballston, it offers great access to Ballston Metro as well as major public buses to DC and Tysons Corner. One of the perks of living in the building complex is very large balcony off the living room along with spacious storage room and washer/dryer in unit. Lots of coffee shops and restaurants nearby in the lovely neighborhood make us determined to make Randolph our home sweet home.

Affordable yet luxury apartment building!!

Located right in the heart of Ballston with one block from Ballston Metro and public buses, the building offers great accessibility to everywhere. I have been living in the building for almost 2 years and intend to make it my second home. One of the biggest perks of Randolph Towers is the size. The apartments are huge and all have large balconies and plenty of sunlights for residents. Another notable thing is the complex has a very solid sound proofing between apartments which make my living much easier and nicer. I would highly recommend it to any of my friends.

Randolph

I've had a good experience so far. The price is a little expensive for the quality/age of the appliances, but it's safe and comfortable. The management collects packages for you, and maintenance forms are easy to submit and the team works quickly. Thanks!

Review of RT

Living in Randolph Towers is nice, close to metro, good amenities and 24 hours front desk. Gym is good and game room has a lot of activities like ping pong table, foosball and pool table. There is also a twenty meter pool that comes in pretty useful in the winter.

Great value for the location

I've lived in Arlington for over 4 years, spending my time in a luxury high rise, casual mid-rise, group house, and finally at Randolph Towers. Randolph Towers offers great value for the location. Although it's an older building, it has been under renovation for the last few years so it will soon have the modern amenities that much more expensive places offer. The units themselves probably won't be updated soon, but what it lacks in granite countertops, it makes up for with giant balconies, huge rooms, and open floorplans.

Nice place to live right next to Ballston Metro

The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. The only issue I face is commuting to and from school. The apartment is a 2 minute walk away from the Ballston metro, which makes the commute a little bit easier. Good restaurants nearby and a residential area!

About Ballston

Living in the suburbs and still finding a vibrant city a few blocks away is what Ballston is all about. Reach the city with great ease, and find some great restaurants such as the Tutto Bene and the Caribbean Breeze, or maybe the Taste of Arlington Annual Street Fair. If that is not appealing enough...

Getting around Ballston

Ballston Reviews

I enjoy my neighbors and the common crowd around this area is young professionals it seems. We are close to george mason university and marymount college, so there is sometimes a younger crowd in the area as well. We do have some houses around the area that I have seen mainly have newly established families (i.e. little kids or new to the area) and I feel safe walking around my area at night.
I personally like being in Arlington. Everything is walkable and while it's not DC proper, it's very easy to get into the city via metro or a quick drive in. I've run to Georgetown in 20-30 minutes. There's stuff to do and there's everything you could need: gyms, grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, bars so close by. Ballston is a hub for transport so buses and the metro abound.
It can be a little noisy if you're too close to Wilson, Glebe or Fairfax roads, especially if you're right above the bus stop like I am, but nothing light background noise can't drown out; I sleep with a fan and I sleep like a baby. The public transport can't be beat, and it seems like a new restaurant opens every day. I'm interested in looking at houses in the area when I can afford to buy!
Ballston is by far one of the best areas of Arlington to live in. It has tons of access to bars, food, shopping, and a social scene, without being too loud of an area.
We are right across from Ballston Quarter which has a Union Market type of food court. The area is developing so quickly, very trendy and everything is within walking distance. Even though it's very walkable it does not feel as congested as DC.
I definitely feel that it's up and coming-- so much construction and many new restaurants and shops popping up! IT's very walkable. It's also pretty safe and it's close to highways, the Potomac, to DC, etc so the location is pretty great.
I love living in Ballston. I don’t have a car and never feel like I need one. Richmond Square is a block from the metro to take me into DC, and there are plenty of places to eat and things to do right here in Ballston.
Great spot for young people. There are tons of amazing restaurants and bars nearby that you can walk to. Also only a short metro ride to DC.
