Two-bedroom within walking distance of the School of Medicine
Very few complaints after having lived in Overlook Manor for the last year. Temperature regulation was difficult at times; there is no air conditioning, but we bought a window AC unit for the summer. Additionally, since it was a fairly mild winter, the older radiators sometimes produced too much heat. We probably would have appreciated this more had we experienced severe winter temperatures in Cleveland this past year. However, the management is great with responding to renter concerns: after emailing them, they installed our window unit the next day for us. Other than temperature, we could not obtain a parking spot behind our apartment as the limited number of spots were already claimed by other renters. We park in the Cleveland Heights municipal lot 1, which is down the road. We purchase 2 spots through our landlord. Living on Overlook is a plus - a lot of students live in the apartment buildings on this road. A leisurely walk will get you to campus in 15 minutes, and the social areas like Coventry, Cedar-Fairmount, Little Italy, and Uptown are all relatively close.
