Old but spacious. Nice enough

The place is really spacious, has lots of storage in the kitchen and elsewhere, and has a layout that is good for both socializing and getting some privacy. The building just got new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and has in-unit laundry. One complaint is that the radiators are controlled by the building and don't kick on as often as we'd like during the winter. Management is responsive to maintenance requests. Location is close to restaurants and shops on Coventry.

Sunrise has been great. There's lots of other medical students in the building. We have a lot of space and it's convenient to school, the hospitals, and restaurants/grocery stores/other essentials.

Old building with poor maintenance by landlord. While its in a convenient location, the problems with the apartment are not worth the hassle. Packages get lost all the time because there is no centrally safe delivery point. Building is very old so lots of older amenities the landlord is not ready to fix.

Our apartment is very spacious and has a lot of counter space and cabinets. There is one full bathroom in the master bedroom and another full bathroom shared by the two other bedrooms. The water pressure is excellent and very warm (it also heats up fast!) We have three parking spaces (one of which is covered.) The apartment is a little old (some holes and imperfections with the walls and floor) but in very good condition. The only downside is that the landlord only communicates via home phone or fax and does not actually answer phone calls. However, he is usually very prompt about fixing any issues.

This apartment complex is extremely spacious and well designed. There is adequate sunlight and the appliances (including in-unit washer and dryer) are up to date. The location is ideal, being close enough to the Health Education Campus/Cleveland area hospitals while also having a feeling of distance. There is also a parking lot behind the apartment that is reasonably priced. The landlord is pretty good about responding to requests in a timely fashion.

This building is great for living with roommates. The layouts are incredibly spacious and plenty of room for everyone to have their own nook. I feel that the value is great. Parking costs extra but there is flexibility in the number of spots you can get especially if you are willing to double park. The older architecture has beautiful hardwood floors and high ceilings with the cost squeaky floors and doors. My main complaints would be loud radiators at times, some issues with pest control, and their policy not allowing dogs.

My roommates and I lived here throughout medical school. It is a nicer apartment fairly close to the medical school. In suite washer/dryer and large kitchen. Landlord is pretty hands-off but is generally pretty good about addressing issues.

I've enjoyed living in the Sunrise apartments. There is a lot of space, and it has some nice perks--balcony for growing plants, washer/dryer in-unit, enough parking for all tenants (although may need to double park if there are more than 3 people in your apartment). There are several other medical students in the building, so we have really friendly and trustworthy neighbors. Ed, the landlord, only communicates by phonecalls, but usually calls back within a couple of hours. We've had some slow responses to maintenance requests. He does not allow dogs, only cats.

The Sunrise has an in unit washer & dryer, dishwasher and balcony. The apartment is made specifically for 3 individuals and has a spacious kitchen, dining room and living room. The bedrooms are all a decent size and can each comfortably fit a full or queen size bed. One of the bedrooms has a bathroom attached but the closet is in the hallway (minor inconvenience). Parking is behind the building and is $45 a month for an outdoor spot and $60 for a garage spot (only 1 garage spot/apartment). Heating and water utilities are included in the rent but the renter pays for electric, cooking gas and cable/internet. The landlord allows cats but no dogs. It's a 2 year lease and rent increases by $10/person in the 2nd year but you can sublet if you want new roommates. The building is well maintained, the landlord responds quickly to problems and in the winter the parking lot is promptly plowed after a snow storm. Neighbors are friendly and the neighborhood is relatively quiet and it's only a 5 minute walk to Coventry's restaurants, bars and grocery store. Less than a 10 min drive to CWRU medical school and about 10-15 min by bike and 25 min by foot. Great place to live-no complaints!
