Great Apartment, Odd Amenities

I love my apartment, but the amenities are a little odd. There are small amenities on each floor instead of having one floor with all of the amenities together. There is an indoor pool and sauna/steam room, great fitness center and outdoor deck with grills. Those are my favorite parts.

Convinient Comfort

Astoria Tower is a wonderful place to call home! The location is great with lots to do and see just outside my door. The amenities are great and I love working out in the indoor pool. There is a nice sundeck that we love to BBQ with friends at and lots of our friends live in the building as well, which is a major perk!

Great apartment , decent location

Astoria Tower is in a decent location in South Loop but it is one of the better luxury apartments in Chicago. It is new so facilities and appliances are not run down like the apartments in the North side of downtown. Gym, swimming pool and parking is great. Public transport is walking distance.

Great place to live

Astoria Tower is a great place to live. The building layout is good and it is walking distance from Grant Park , and Millenium park.
South loop generally doesn't have a cool vibe to it, so there is not much to do in this part of the loop. Management is great

Love My Home

I have lived at Astoria tower for quite some time now, and the overall experience has been great. I love the residents, certainly the happiest high-rise I have lived in. The amenities are the real kicker. I love the office space and rooftops. I will be living here as long as I am in Chicago.

Excellent building

I love Astoria Tower. The units are really great. Our kitchen appliances are high quality and the floor to ceiling windows ensure that we have an amazing view of the city. The building staff is also incredibly friendly (rare, I know)!

South Loop Reviews

I feel very safe in this neighborhood. It's close to the L and many bus lines run in this area. We are close to many of the festivals and other great entertainment happening throughout Chicago. Also some great restaurants nearby! Grocery stores are close as well. Any necessity you need is within walking distance to Park Michigan!
Quiet neighborhood with close access to various transport options. Close to Downtown Loop area without any of the traffic/ noise. Close to the lake and Museum Campus, which offers great views and entertainment. A lot of families in the area, and I feel very safe and comfortable living here.
Within walking distance to downtown, state street, millenium park and even mag mile. River and city views are amazing. Walking distance to a plethora of transportation options and some free street parking. A handful of stores and restaurants in the near vicinity as well.
South Loop is a great place to be right now. So much has changed and built up there. Target is just up the road, as well as Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and Jewel. Museums are so close. The Lakefront is close by. Tons of restaurants to try as well.
South Loop is a relatively safe area since there's a police station a block away from this apartment building. However, there is always some sort of crime going on so just be wary of your surroundings and never walk alone at night.
The neighborhood is a bit scary during the late hours, with many homeless and strange people begging outside the subway or Jewel Osco. The area is convenient as it is close to the freeway and subway line, not too far from the city.
Located in the south loop, it is very close to downtown. Walk to work is an option to folks who work in the downtown. Public transportation is also available in a couple of blocks radius. It is a very safe neighborhood.
The south loop is a very convenient location for those working in the loop. I walk to work every day. It has plenty of stores, restaurants and bars to offer and is very conveniently located to transit options
