Overall rating 7.7/10, based on 184 renter reviews Write a review
The Heights at LaSalle reviews and highlights
- responsive maintenance
- great social presence
- new complex with modern amenities
- spacious bathrooms
- close to public transportation
- relatively small gym
- great study rooms for group meetings
- overpriced for what you get
- great pool and grilling area
- spacious units
Convenient to go to school
The largest advantage is the location which is on the route of LL Bus. The community have plenty of parking space if you own a car. But the price is slightly expensive with only the minimum amenity such as gym, conference room and pool.

A little bit expensive
High security but high price too.

Overall safety and economical
Have locker for entry, near the bus stop and Duke west campus. Overall is cost-effective to stay, and most residents are the student. However, the wall is thin are you could hear noise from your neighbour.

You can choose here
Pretty good. Near west campus, easy to get LL bus transportation. The equipment in the room is great. But sometimes have a pest problem, and the wall is thin( you can hear footsteps from upstairs in the evenings). And which unit and which floor you choose is important.

Good location: close to the west campus and a supermarket
Good Transportation: Bus stations right in front of the building and within 400 m; On the route of Lasalle Loop Duke Transit Service
Limited Recreational facilities, limited shopping choice, limited restaurants. Bug issues

Review for heights
In general,Heights is a good apartment. It has a great location, a bus stop right in front of the apartment, and the nearest supermarket is only 10min away. But the maintenance service reacts passively to requests. And the leasing office is also not very helpful.

Great Place to Live and Great Value
Living at the Heights has largely been great. Apartments are very spacious with lots of storage, parking is free, and the outdoor area/gym is very nice. It is close to the Duke campus, but not near restaurants or other places to walk, so it can feel a bit isolating at times.

Heights at LaSalle Dec 2020
There was a break in at our apartment complex right as winter break began in 2020. Otherwise it was very safe. Management is very responsive, helpful, and on top of everything.
