Very satisfied

I've enjoyed living in this condo complex. My apartment is comfortably sized, has in-unit laundry and a balcony, and feels very secure. The apartment has up-to-date appliances and nice interior detailing. I enjoy the neighborhood that I'm in (Printer's Row, which is much quieter than Streeterville while still being in a very accessible area via public transit), although it is further from campus (about a 20-minute commute). I am also within walking distance of Grant Park, Target, Trader Joe's, a hardware store, and many other shops and restaurants. The only other downside other than the distance from campus is the minimal amenities in the building. We have a mail room and a bike room, but no gym or common spaces included (which wasn't a dealbreaker for me).

Good Place at One Place

One Place is in a convenient location, its close to transit, down the street from Millennium park and down the street from the shops. The building is secure and safe. In terms of amenities, theres not much that this building offers but the building is right above an Xsport and down the street from an FFC, so people can sign up there.

Great Place

The building management is very attentive. Great place, modern layout, awesome location, close to public transportation, and the building is right above an Xsport fitness. The only downside is the central A/C and heat, in response with the fluxuation in weather, it sometimes gets too hot or too cold.

One Place Condominiums

This place has the worst management. Luckily its in a good area which is the only reason we continue to keep living here. If you need to get something done, forget about it. There are no amenities in the building, not even a simple front desk or a doorman.

Best Total Value

If you want to live in a place for several years, want to stay in the city with a spouse/family at an affordable price, and you care more about the interior of the building than the "status" of the neighborhood, then the area between roosevelt and van-buren is where you want to be!
