Amazing

It’s so close to school and they are very friendly and accommodating to me. Would absolutely recommend this complex.

Nice apartments- but older

These are nice apartments, but I had multiple bug issues while living there and I think they are drastically overpriced for the area and limited amenities. It’s not worth living downtown to pay $2000 a month in rent to live with a roommate.

Best Location

The location is great for both the law school and downtown. The short walk to school and other fun places makes it the best place to live downtown. The amenities and the staff also make the price worth it.

Would recommend

Did not get a full 10 out of 10 because rent is a little high, but the building is great. Maintenance requests have all been completed within 24 business hours (Monday morning if submitted over the weekend). The leasing office staff is very helpful. No breed or weight restrictions for dogs. Love that it’s less than a 5 minute walk from my front door to school.

Great Experience renting from here-- worth the extra expense

I have lived at the Hue all 3 years of law school. I started in one of the studio apartments, and moved into a one bedroom prior to the start of my last year at Campbell. I have always had an amazing experience with maintenance coming within 24 hours of placing a request-- once I sent a request at 3AM and they were here at 8:30 AM the same day. The facilities are always clean. The Hargett side can get a little loud on weekends, and the pool side is loud during the summer-- which is only an issue if you need to get work done during the week. The location to school is phenomenal and I would recommend this location to anyone. They also have pest control come frequently to spray to prevent bugs, which has limited my experience with pests.

The rooms are very spacious. I had an issue with storage in my studio apartment, however, my one bedroom has TONS of storage for my fiancé and I. Also I have never really had any issues with noisy neighbors, outside of a set that used to argue in the hallways. Since they left, we have not had any issues. If you have pets, there is a great park across the road that you can use. The hue is also a 5 minute drive from Doretha Dix park which has a large field and dog park that can be a great space to bring your dog for a study break!

A negative aspect of the property is that the parking garage is a little tight, so be careful with your car. Also, the fitness center is smaller-- so if you are a gym person, you may need to get a membership if you use larger weights.

The Hue

I've lived here for 3 years and loved it! It's super close to the Campbell Law which helps cut down on travel time.

Downtown Raleigh Reviews

Super close to tons of food places, bars, a grocery store, and down the street from basically anything you’d need. Downtown Raleigh can be a little rough sometimes so just be careful walking alone when it’s late!
I have walked home late some nights and have never felt unsafe. The Lincoln is very close to several bars and restaurants. The City Market area is a fun place to hang out and go shopping. Before COVID, there was an open air market there every Wednesday.
There is lots to do in the warehouse district and tons of amazing restaurants within walking distance! And the biggest perk of all is that my commute to school is a 4-5 minute walk.
We are so close to many bars and restaurants but also far enough from Glenwood street that there isn't much noise.
I love being right downtown. It is so convenient, and its so nice being so close to campus.
It's downtown Raleigh, so an ideal location but can be loud.
I love Raleigh, I think it's a perfect example of "big city, small town feel." The food is great, the bar scene is what you make of it, and there is plenty of accessible sidewalk.
Downtown is what you would think if would be, a lot going on! Safer than the downtowns I'm used to (Little Rock, AR & Memphis,TN) so I've never felt uncomfortable being out in the city and I don't know that many peopld I know have either! Lots to do and see!
