State Street Village Apartments Review
State Street Village is a nice new apartment where you can get a really nice, pet-friendly apartment at good value for Ann Arbor. The apartment was completed in 2016.
It is right on the route of the 62 bus line, so with your UMID you can get from the apartment complex to 2 blocks away from Ross for free on the bus in just 10 minutes.
The management of the apartment is typical of a college town: they take a while to respond to issues, but that is the case just about anywhere in Ann Arbor.

Brand New But Not Perfect
Overall, we've had a great experience living in a freshly built complex, never inhabited by others. As a result, our facilities and home are well equipped. Nonetheless, the three-floor apartment does not have an elevator (moving in was a hassle) and is generally no disability friendly (no curved curbs). Moreover, the parking situation is not ideal. Each unit is only provided one spot, although most apartments are 2+ bedrooms. I know that many UM students live in the four bedroom apartments, which is more economically friendly but clearly only one vehicle can be supported per household. Visitor and additional parking is essentially non existent. There's free access to a small gym. It's conveniently located off the 62 bus line that runs directly to campus (5-10mins max) with a stop at the corner of the Law School (adjacent to Ross). No utilities are included.
