Student Housing
It's convenient to live close to campus when classes are occurring in person, especially as a 1L when your life is very stressful and busy. UMaintenance usually responds to work requests fairly quickly. It's never too loud where I live, and we have a nice courtyard. The rent is high, but it's convenient that the apartment is completely furnished and utilities, including central AC, are included. There is not a ton of storage in the apartment.

I’ve been living hear two years now, and the thing you have to understand about Westwood apartments is that they all suck. However, weyburn terrace wants to be able to suck and then ask us to be grateful. There has been consistent 7-5 construction right outside the building the entire time I’ve been here and the most they did to mitigate the noise, dust, and annoyance was give us shitty coffee and bagels once a month. Someone ripped off the screen to our apartment in our closed courtyard and the residents people did nothing about it. Our floors have flooded, our ceilings have leaked, and the apartment itself is not at all comfortable or nicely proportioned. They don’t even let you get rid of excess furniture. I cannot wait to move out of this place, it’s the goddamn worst.

I wish the rent was more affordable or at least that parking was included
For the most part, I really like this space. The only things I would change are mentioned above. The rent is really costly and considering that these are university apartments, I would hope that they would take into consideration student income and the fact that we are in the middle of a pandemic.

Convenient, Clean, Good Utilities
The location is convenient for either walking or busing to campus. Rent is easily paid online, and you only have to worry about paying your portion instead of transferring money between roommates when a landlord wants one check. It feels safe. Housing services are fairly good at responding to issues. It is not the cheapest option, however, and storage space is minimal.

Good place for grad students, especially if you don't plan to stay in LA
I have really enjoyed my experience here. Although there are some slightly annoying quirks to get used to (

Aloe Court
When I moved in the floors were terribly dirty, window blinds had dirt all over them, the AC filter hadn't been changed in probably a year, AC intake and vents were full of caked on dust, carpet had stains all over. Condition of the couch is sad, back pillows have lost shape. I can hear my upstairs neighbors walk around all the time, anyone speaking in the hallway i can hear. My walk to the bus stop is too far. The elevators have not been inspected in at least SIX MONTHS, last i looked. Further, they are slow, almost always broken, and not in convenient locations.

Graduate Housing
The graduate student housing is good enough. You do not have to deal with horrible landlords. However, it is extremely costly and like most other apartments in the area, is also old. For instance, things like the stove, refrigerator, and toilet are dilapidated and maintenance will not replace them. Also, beware that UCLA stands for Under Construction Like Always. As a double Bruin, I have been studying at UCLA and living close by for approximately 6 years now and there is always massive construction going on (and therefore extremely loud noise) around the student housing, which means that unless you are impaired of hearing, you cannot sleep past 7 AM during the weekdays.

No complaints
Living in on campus housing is so convenient. The free shuttle takes me from my building to the law school. The facilities and maintenance staff are friendly and helpful. Housing administration doesn't really seem to have their act together but it hasn't caused serious problems.

UCLA grad student housing
The 2br/2b units at Weyburn terrace are decently spacious and include all utilities. The best part about living there is the convenient location and proximity to the free UCLA shuttle. The downside is lack of storage space in the apartment
