Good property, poor management
The amenities and apartment itself is nice, but I dread having to interact with anyone from the leasing office. During my renewal, after months of requesting my updated lease rate, I received the information 3 days before having to make a renewal decision with no decision extension given to me. This was advantageous to them as any additional months I stayed not under lease my rent would have shot up to $3,000. It felt predatory. Also, given the dorm construction on campus, there are a lot of undergraduates living here that are more rowdy than in the past.

Started Strong...Got Worse
This is my second year at the Morris, and I used to rave about my apartment to everyone I knew. It has changed management 3 times now, with the 2nd being the best, and this last management being tied for the worst. They increased parking from $5 to $50 for the first car. I can understand $50 still being below average for the area, but what I cannot understand is the 10x increase at once with no additional security measures being added to the residential floors, despite recent car break ins in our garage. An additional thing they added was a "common area electricity fee" which they marketed as being a small fee split among residents. Please tell me why person electricity bill for my apartment was less than the common area electric fee for this month...This does not even include the lack of communication to residents. i had to find out the building flooded (Several apartments) over the summer through a Google review. They never send anything out about fire alarms going off, we just randomly find out when we go to take the elevator and it doesn't work (because the alarms only go off on certain floors instead of all of them to indicate to us to evacuate).
Thatbeing said, concierge staff is amazing. The old maintenance team (with the 2nd management) were the absolute best. This new management team gets the job done, but they do not go above and beyond like the previous team did. The amenities are great and kept clean. Rooftop pool, gym, and lunge areas are fun and have a good view. I feel like the hours they are open should be extended a little more. I love the space and layout of my studio. The view is amazing, and even with full-wall windows, I do not get woken up in the morning (the shades cover well).
Overall, unless this management changes how things are going, I would not recommend. I am planning on not renewing after my lease is up unless things change. Instead of only paying a $60 rent increase, it is now almost $150 because of all the additional fees.

Low effort law school apartment
Great location, overpriced as are all Midtown apartments. New management is very responsive although there have been some issues in the past. Super friendly maintenance team and I love having a doorman.

The Morris Review
Expensive but great location

The Morris feels like home
After touring many apartment complexes, I settled on The Morris because it felt the most homey with nice, warm finishes. It is a convenient walking location to the law school, while still having a little separation, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The peninsula counter in my floor plan also gives me a nice alternative space to study when I'm tired of sitting at my desk. I have not been disappointed with my choice.

The Morris
The Morris has been great! The staff is wonderful and always quick to address any issues. It is convenient to walk to campus, and I would definitely recommend living here. Very safe building with 24/7 concierge.

Best value in midtown
I am convinced The Morris is the best value in Midtown if you are comparing high rise apartments. I am not obsessed with midtown because it is touristy, but as someone who wants to walk to school, I am never going to leave the Morris. Rent is not cheap, but the building is very clean and secure and the location is super convenient to the law school. Maintenance is extremely responsive and the amenities are awesome. The only thing I would advise is to try to face away from Division/Broadway/19th Ave. I really like my apartment but a few times per month in the warmer months there are concerts/events that I can hear all the way from the 17th floor. I cannot hear my neighbors and my apartment is super bright.

Excellent place
The Morris is awesome. It's a bit pricier but it's only a 15 minute walk to the medical school, has a rooftop pool, rooftop lounge, comprehensive gym on the 19th floor, excellent views, floor to ceiling windows, and an upscale feel.

The best ever
Such an awesome complex. Amenities are a 10/10, location is phenomenal, really good group of us living here. It's super safe (concierge desk staffed at all time, need key to access literally everything), and so well-kept. Only drawback truthfully is price, but its honestly not much more expensive than any other apt in the area.
