The Morgan
I'm very happy with The Morgan. There are 3 levels of how newly renovated the apartments are and I am in the most outdated one (fully unrenovated) but I don't mind it at all. It's not run down by any means, just slightly outdated aesthetic. Some fellow MBA's who have lived at The Morgan have said they've had issues with bugs, but I have not. I do live on the third floor though so that likely helps.
What I like best:
- Very close to Gold's Gym
- Decently close to the Business School
- Pretty grounds to walk around
- Helpful management
- Very close to Harris Teeter
What I don't like:
- Kitchen sink is not farm style (it is in some of the newly renovated apartments here)
- Not a ton of MBA's seem to live here (to me, the densest population seems to be at The Hartly and The Berkshire)

Great couples spot
Easy travel to KFBS and Chapel Hill, great amenities, big floor plans, quiet living.

Solid All Around
A solid experience all around. Convenient enough to get most everywhere you want to go in Chapel Hill in 15 minutes or less. Far enough off campus so you are not always putting up with the hectic nature of campus.

Solid apartment near the business school
I was able to get 2 bedrooms/2 bath for the same price a lot of other places charge for just 1/1. The leasing staff was nice and the apartment they put me in was clean. The location is great, providing a quick backroad way to get to the business school without hitting morning traffic.

Quiet Community - Close to Campus
I have enjoyed living at the Morgan. The community is quiet and lots of graduate students reside there. The gym is big, the pool is great, and the location is hard to beat. There have been some truck break-ins which have frustrated the community.

Nice Apartments w/ Large Student Populaton
This is a good location that is about 10-12 minutes from the business school. Lots of students and full-time nurses live here. There is typically something going on at the pool during the summer.
The only drawback is the lack of security and security cameras. Crime is getting worse and there have been break-ins recently despite being in a nicer area.

Ok
The Morgan is a good building but it's old and a decently far drive from campus, about 25-30 minutes from door to door.
The pool is nice but other than that I've seen other MBAs at apartments that are not too much more expensive with much nicer facilities.
There are very few food options near by and nothing is walking distance.

Easy access to UNC with great amenities
The Morgan is a great spot to live while attending UNC. It has an excellent gym, pool, and door trash service. My only complaint is that we have a neighbor who is somewhat loud, but the management company has offered solutions. Overall, a great spot to live.

The Morgan is a great place to live
Great location from business school, great amenities and great prices. Had some maintenance issues when I moved in and management was great at fixing the issues. It did require some follow up but if you talk with Asia she does a great job at fixing any concerns.

Solid spot
My experience has been solid for the most part. The gym is basic but very convenient. There have been a few incidents of car breaking, but I have never felt unsafe here.
