Good Value but comes with tradeoffs
It's a decent location being near campus but is not the closest. I would say it is biking distance rather than walking. It also comes with older appliances and renovation but also comes with a cheaper price correspondingly. Good amount of room and decent construction quality.

good balance of location and budget
Location is not the best if you are a party person. But it is still very convenient to go to school - bus 51 & 82, same as maplewood
Nice neighborhood: grocery/gym/CTB/tennis court within 5min walk
Room is spacious, rental is acceptable. Very quiet.
Very good management, the staff is very helpful to check and repair things.

Overall good experience at Summerhill
Everything is good. Good prices, good location with easy access to public transit, making it friendly to anyone with or without a car. Maintenance response is prompt. Although I don't have a pet, I often see people walking dogs near the complexes, so I think it should be pet friendly. Many parking spaces, and you can also rent a garage if needed. Good view and the apartments are close to the nature, so you can go for a short walk or run near dusk.
The thing I like most about it is the spacious floor plans. Large living room and dining room. The only thing I dislike is that carpet floor easily gets dirty and you need to clean it often times. Except this, I think the apartment is perfect.

Good
This is really a great place to live: large houses with a huge shared garden. 2 parking spots per house for free. Maintenance services very reactive. Only negative point is the noise generated by the Cooling systems during the summer. They are very noisy. Hopefully the summer is quite short in Ithaca. Overall: 8.5/10
