Avra West Loop

Excellent management with secure locked outside doors, a semi enclosed pet run for when the weather is less than ideal, fast building internet, a well stocked gym, and beautiful views from the roof. It is close to the blue line, CTA routes 126 and 7. Very close to the west loop food scene

I am so happy with my decision to stay at Avra. The convenience makes it a 9/10. It is a 15-20 min walk to school, there are two buses available (one across the street, the other ~4 min walk) that take about 10 min to get to school, the blue line is a few mins away, the target is right across the street, and you are a few blocks away from Randolph street/fulton market/H halstead. Great security and though the gym is small, it has mostly everything you need. The only thing that bothers me is that the highway can be noisy if facing south.

Living in Avra has been great. It's a 15 minute walk to Rush, and very accessible to the blue line and the bus. It's in West Loop, so there is a lot to do around. Having a gym is great.

great option for rush medical students in general

The location of this apartment is unmatched. Lots of free street parking or the possibility of parking in a garage for a monthly fee. Can walk to campus, easy access to Divvy station. Right across the street from Target. This is a very expensive apartment; several of my classmates live in studios here. I live with my significant other who has an adult job and who pays over half of the rent.

The building is super safe! It’s located right by 290 and is about 15 minutes from school without traffic. At most, 20-25min. It’s in West loop so good for anyone looking to live downtown but still a close enough drive to school. Located by the blue line (like a few minutes away) so easy access to O’hare if needed and also to other areas or downtown!

I love Avra! The facilities are fantastic including the gym, outdoor rooftop, and top floor office/study space. I feel so safe which was very important to me. The staff are very friendly and quick to help if you need. It is in walking distance to both Rush and the main West Loop area for restaurant, bars, and other "errand" locations. It is also right across the street from Target which is huge :)
