Little Italy
This place is great. There are a lot of Rush people in the building. Lots of space. The only down side is that Little Italy is quite as "happening" as Wicker/Bucktown/West town/Ukranian type. This was fine for me since the walk to Rush was ~10 minutes (very clutch on rotations), but less fine for my significant other who wanted a little more hustle and bustle in her neighborhood.

Little Italy Condo Rental
This building is 10/10. Close to Rush, good amenities with building security. Officially it's a condo building with many of the units owned outright. A good fraction of units are rented by the owners to students in the area. There is indoor and outdoor parking. indoor parking can be tight if you have a large car. The 1 bedroom I was in is officially a "convertible" where it is loft style with the bedroom walls not meeting the ceiling.
