Love this place!

It's a beautiful building located in the heart of the business district, and right next to the new Comcast building (which will be the tallest in the state, and the ninth tallest in the Western Hemisphere). It's super pet friendly, and a lot of the residents have dogs (which is great with Rittenhouse Park so close by). There's a fantastic, newly-built Rite-Aid in the ground floor that's open 24/7, so you'll never want for food or supplies. All around a great place to live!

Lots of noise

Good location, ok maintained building. Good view without the building being constructed next door. But I like living there because of how central you are to everything in Philly. I do wish they kept up with maintenance though. Also love that they allow pets - big plus!

Pricey, but safe and new apartments

My dream apartment. Spacious area with almost floor to ceiling windows (natural light was important to me). The curtains are not blackout like they say. All new appliances and excellent updated in-unit air system. Utilities are overpriced. Pet friendly!

1900 Arch

I love the location and our unit looks nice and is updated, but the other tenants are young and somewhat irresponsible (ie: leave the trash room a mess; don't pick up after pets outside). Also, building security seems to let anyone in, and we've seen people using the gym who don't live there.

Pretty sweet place to live

I've been pretty happy here. The building was pretty new when I moved in, and I love the kitchen and washer/dryer in the bathroom! The closet for two people is a bit of a squeeze, but the huge windows make up for it. The building is pet friendly, so don't be surprised if you meet a dog in the hallway. Unfortunately not everyone is well-trained, so there is a low permeating smell of urine. Logan Square is two blocks away, but there isn't much else in the immediate vicinity, and the street itself isn't nearly as nice as Locust/Spruce Street.

Bonus 1: Roofdeck is amazing, but it closes at 10pm on weekends and 9pm on weeknights. Apparently the senior living apartment across the street complained about the noise...lame.

Bonus 2: Indian Cuisine right across the street. I've gained an undisclosed number of pounds this year.

Works well

Love my space--great modern unit/bathroom/kitchen. /D in unit. Around 760 sq ft is over $2k-crazy. Management is not great. Gym is only real amenity offered but very nice and UTD. Overpriced and rent just keeps going up. Utilities are reasonable but not included; nor is cable or internet, water, etc. PMC is the worst. Safe part of Center City-doorman on staff 24/7 and building is accessible via key fob. Near a few Logan Square restraurants and right off the Parkway so very convenient location to get on 76 freeway.

Amazing location, great amenities

1900 Arch was built two years ago (I moved in when it first opened in summer 2014). Awesome building with spacious 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. Doorman, gym, lounge, roofdeck. Great for hosting Wharton parties or club meetings. To get to campus, you can take the trolley/Septa (like a subway) for $2.25 - so convenient, and you'll be at Huntsman in 10 mins flat.

Great apartment!

Ideal for hosting parties in the common room or on the roof deck. Fantastic gym that is never too crowded. Brand new apartments with updated amenities. Very close to Trader Joes and a short walk to Rittenhouse Square.

Excellent Apartment at 1900 Arch

I have been very impressed with my one bedroom apartment at 1900 Arch. The rooms are new, the amenities are great, and the location is central to everything in Center City.

My complaints are relatively few and minor: some of the hallways lack AC, which makes it stifling hot at certain points on summer days. The cleanliness could also be better - not that the building is dirty, but the common areas and immediate sidewalks could be kept up a bit better.

Overall, it's a fantastic apartment for those looking for a convenient and comfortable place to live in Center City.

Great building!

I love living at 1900 Arch. The building has fantastic amenities - a huge roof deck, a great gym, and a nice lounge area. The gym is the best gym I've ever seen in an apartment building. It has all the equipment I need.

The apartments are new and very modern. All the maintenance requests I have had were taken care of in a timely manner.

It is a short walk to Rittenhouse square and all the bars and restaurants in that area. It is also a very easy walk to campus and there is a trolley only a block away for not so nice days.

The building is very pet friendly and they have very few restrictions on size or breed.

Loved the neighborhood. Paying for monthly parking in a nearby garage was not outrageously expensive, was close to center city for fun and errand-running, Target and Whole Foods nearby made for easy groceries when I didn’t want to leave the city. Sabrina’s Cafe is nearby, which is super delicious. BSL was about an 8 minute walk to either Spring Garden or Race-Vine, depending on if I was going north or south. Great area for walking around and getting out of your apartment.
The apartment is technically between Logan Square and Rittenhouse Square. We live right above Trader Joe's, which makes grocery shopping a breeze. We spend a lot of time walking around Rittenhouse Square and Rittenhouse neighborhood to pick up groceries, drink coffee, and generally hang out with each other and friends. The river walk is a short walk away, and the Museum District is within walking distance. Back when I was going to school regularly, the Septa trolley stop is conveniently right in front of our apartment and the 30th Street Station is a 10 minute walk away. While the amenities leave some things to be desired and we pay a premium for our location, it is a great place to live especially for newcomers to Philadelphia who want to be next to all the action.
Unless you mind the noise of cars in the street below, you will not have any issues. Given that is center city there are many people experiencing homelessness so if that is a deal breaker I recommend other neighborhoods. The upside is being 5-10 minutes distance from all the fun, restaurants, activities, nightlife, etc.. that you will ever need.
Super close to Whole Foods and Trader Joes, and I love the walk along the parkway. It's close to various museums which is great! Overall the neighborhood is pretty residential, but there are coffee shops and to-go restaurants that are easy to access.
The neighborhood is a little more commercial but only a minute away from everything wonderful in rittenhouse. But it feels very safe at all times because it’s on a major street.
It is a great location. The law school is a 15 minute walk. Most of Center City is also within a 20 minute radius. A lot of other law students live nearby.
Lots of great bars and restaurants in the area. One of the safest and nicest areas in Philly. There are generally lots of people walking around.
Close to tons of great places to eat/drink, shop, etc. Walking distance to anything in Center City/Callowhill/Art Museum areas.
