Quincy Plaza

Great location (between Ballston and VA Square metros) and newly renovated apartments with great facilities. Assigned parking spots is helpful so you don't have to go looking for your car. Rooms are good sized.

Love Quincy Plaza - expensive, but worth it!

Wonderful complex. Have lived here for 10 months. Expensive, but that's standard for the Ballston-Rosslyn corridor. 5min walking to 2 metro stations, and area is quiet and peaceful at night. Hallways are clean, maintenance has always been prompt when I have issues (rare) and generally I love living here. Appliances are well maintained, no bugs, very clean overall. Almost never hear any noise from neighbors - good insulation. Utilities are flat, so I can leave heat on in the winter and not worry about a bigger bill.

Good location, not enough space for 2

I've been living at the Quincy Plaza for 1.5 years. It is located close to the metro station, hence, is very convenient. The area is safe and close to many restaurants. There is also a small pool that I like to use in the summer (pool size could be bigger). I also use the gym a lot and don't need to spend money for a separate gym membership which is great. The space I have is not great for two people, especially with the small closet space. We don't have that much storage space either, which is a challenge sometimes. Overall, my experience has been good but would prefer a place with more space.

Reddy

Management is very responsive to questions. Room has a good amount of sunlight. Would've liked hardwood floors but can't have it all. Also wish there were stainless steel appliances but that's a minor detail. Overall very well maintained, clean, and nice staff!

Great choice in Ballston

Everything comes in extra large. Overall units, balcony, closets, pool. Good gym. Friendly staff. Equidistant to Ballston or VA Sq Metro and right by the Ballston mall and restaurants.

Great for young professionals

Nice building with good amenities. Good bang for your buck in the area, but not the cheapest option. Pool gets in the shade by mid afternoon. Gym is a good size and doesn't get overcrowded. The doormen are very nice. Parking garagee can be tight.

Good Arlington location

On the more pricey side of apartments. In Ballston, so requires a walk/drive to fun areas nearby (Clarendon is close, DC is farther). Close to Capital One so good for commuting. Great amenities and a nice staff. Big bedrooms and living space with private bathrooms.

About Ballston

Living in the suburbs and still finding a vibrant city a few blocks away is what Ballston is all about. Reach the city with great ease, and find some great restaurants such as the Tutto Bene and the Caribbean Breeze, or maybe the Taste of Arlington Annual Street Fair. If that is not appealing enough...

Getting around Ballston

Ballston Reviews

49 reviews
I enjoy my neighbors and the common crowd around this area is young professionals it seems. We are close to george mason university and marymount college, so there is sometimes a younger crowd in the area as well. We do have some houses around the area that I have seen mainly have newly established families (i.e. little kids or new to the area) and I feel safe walking around my area at night.
I personally like being in Arlington. Everything is walkable and while it's not DC proper, it's very easy to get into the city via metro or a quick drive in. I've run to Georgetown in 20-30 minutes. There's stuff to do and there's everything you could need: gyms, grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, bars so close by. Ballston is a hub for transport so buses and the metro abound.
It can be a little noisy if you're too close to Wilson, Glebe or Fairfax roads, especially if you're right above the bus stop like I am, but nothing light background noise can't drown out; I sleep with a fan and I sleep like a baby. The public transport can't be beat, and it seems like a new restaurant opens every day. I'm interested in looking at houses in the area when I can afford to buy!
Ballston is by far one of the best areas of Arlington to live in. It has tons of access to bars, food, shopping, and a social scene, without being too loud of an area.
We are right across from Ballston Quarter which has a Union Market type of food court. The area is developing so quickly, very trendy and everything is within walking distance. Even though it's very walkable it does not feel as congested as DC.
I definitely feel that it's up and coming-- so much construction and many new restaurants and shops popping up! IT's very walkable. It's also pretty safe and it's close to highways, the Potomac, to DC, etc so the location is pretty great.
I love living in Ballston. I don’t have a car and never feel like I need one. Richmond Square is a block from the metro to take me into DC, and there are plenty of places to eat and things to do right here in Ballston.
Great spot for young people. There are tons of amazing restaurants and bars nearby that you can walk to. Also only a short metro ride to DC.
