Well run apartment but expensive

I've enjoyed living here- it's quiet, close to campus and well run. Any maintenance issues are quickly resolved. However, they have increased our rent each year by a significant amount (~$200/month increase with each lease renewal).

Full featured building, mid-level quality residence

The building offers decent amenities, like a 24 hour concierge and a fitness center (mainly cardio machines, a few dumbbells and a cable machine). Units are very decently sized for the price. The quality of the units is pretty average. Outdated appliances, low quality counters and cabinets, subpar heating and cooling. But nice hardwood floors, nicely cleaned and repainted before every new tenant. Maintenance is usually very responsive. Parking is not included, and pretty expensive, about $190 per month.

Love it!

Living in these apartments offer the best of both city life as well as quiet suburban life. The neighborhood is clean, apartment staff is very friendly with 24 hr concierge and the apartment is great with lots of natural light. The free maintenance is an added benefit which is really helpful because plumbers etc in DC are really expensive. I love it here!

Good value

The building shows some wear but is mostly well-maintained. If you have any issues they are pretty quick to respond. The concierge is a plus for getting packages, and they send you an email to let you know when one has arrived. It's a short walking distance to Glover Park and 30-buses. I wish it were closer to metro train lines but there's a D2 bus right out back that takes you straight to Dupont. Parking is overpriced but standard for DC!

Good for Money

You get a big space for what you pay - close to georgetown but not close to the metro. Wish there was another bathroom. Although, apartment in itself is nice, clean, big and has everything you need! Another thing that is good is that utilities and internet is included in the price, although, the amenities are so/so.

Tunlaw Apartments

Glover is an awesome neighborhood with a great community. Very close to Georgetown and tons of hip places to eat and drink! Metro is not accessible by walking which is a HUGE downfall. The apartment is complex is well kept, clean, and the staff are extremely friendly!

Eaves - Glover Park

We converted a two bedroom to a three bedroom (put up a small wall) and it has worked out nicely. Otherwise, the rent would have been WAY too expensive. The common room would have been huge if we didn't though.

The building is really close to a lot of great restaurants/bars, a Whole Foods, a couple gyms, and a Starbucks. Only drawback to the location is not having metro access.

Great value for money

Located in Glover Park, its close enough to Georgetown University. There is lots of stuff (groceries, bars, restaurants) on Wisconsin Ave 2 min away. The apartment building is older- built in the 40's, but it has been updated. The 1br apt is very spacious, with lots of storage space and room for furniture. It is a rent controlled building so the rent per sq ft is much lower than other buildings, so there is definitely a lot of value for your money.

Glover Park Reviews

Lots of restaurants and bars right across the street on Wisconsin. Safeway is a 12 minute walk. Two Starbucks's within a 15 minute walk. Unfortunately they both close really early (8:30 pm).
Glover Park is a great neighborhood with a diverse population- college students, graduate students, nurses, small families, and some retired. The people are very friendly, and it is within walking distance to Wisconsin Avenue which has a many shops and restaurants.
Lots of families and dogs walking around all the time. Very close to Wisconsin Ave with tons of food and bars and shops. Feel very safe too, just a great place to live
The neighborhood is very safe and kid friendly.
Living in Glover Park is absolutely amazing. The neighborhood is adorable and safe; there are restaurants, bars, grocery stores, dry cleaning, etc. all right there; and it's an ideal location for getting to campus (but not feeling like you live surrounded by undergrads).
Quiet and safe. Walking the hill to and from campus is the only downside.
Near Restaurants, Rite Aid, CVS, Cleaners, Post Office and Guts Bus. No car needed.
Quiet and far from metro, but VERY convenient to campus and bus stops.
