Del Ray

A Quaint Neighborhood in Virginia Just Outside of DC
Located in Alexandria, VA, Del Ray offers a vintage small-town lifestyle to its residents. With its adorable cafes, patisseries and small boutiques, there's something for everyone. For a healthy weekend, you can even pick out vintage bikes at the Velocity Bicycle Cooperative or head out at Mind the Mat for a session of yoga and Zumba.

Majestic Lounge and Taqueria el Poblano are the best places for a Friday night. Like many places in Alexandria, the commute to downtown DC is quick so it's easy to bounce between the city and suburbs.

Auburn Village
The Del Ray neighborhood is very cute. Lots of mom and pop type stores and restaurants. Small town feel. Very young couple with new baby and dog type of place.

There is a pretty unsafe area right next to the neighborhood, so be careful. Also, there is no metro nearby.
