Worst Complex I've Ever Lived At
The hallways are dirty and management is impersonal. They will nickel and dime you for every last cent and be slow to respond to maintenance requests.
I walked by the leasing office with a friend and her pet. Within 24 hours I received a request telling me I owed the complex a pet deposit despite not having a pet.
Even moving in was a hassle. I arrived into town around midnight the day my lease started and asked the staff if I could drop my things off into the living room because the hotel I was staying at didn't have private parking. The staff then proceeded to give me a hard time about my moving in even though it was my lease start date and tried to get me to pay an additional day's rent. When I didn't agree to pay an additional day's rent they made a huge deal about it and treated me as if they were doing me this giant favor by letting me move in at midnight on my lease start date.
With regards to my room the walls are very thin. I live on the first floor and my neighbors above me sound like they're stomping and make my bedroom door shake every time they walk around their living room. I talked to management about the issue and they told me that they weren't going to do anything about it and I just had to deal with it.
I do not recommend living here, they advertise themselves as a luxury property but that couldn't be further from the truth. Between the dirty hallways and the staffs attitude I would recommend looking elsewhere. You'll end up paying less money for a nicer place and have a much better experience.

9/10 experience, would recommend
Great place off campus! No carpets which is a little strange to me and always something going on at the pool which can be annoying, but overall a great experience only a 7 minute drive from school! If I had to do it all over again I’d definitely choose to live here again!

Remodeled apartment in great complex with stellar management
The management company is amazing! They are so attentive to any issues, and on top of that they're really friendly. The apartment complex is great — outdoor pool (with pool parties in the summer!), fire pit, gym, printers, study rooms, etc. My apartment itself has been recently renovated with new appliances including a washer/dryer in-unit, microwave, dishwasher, ice machine. The apt is SO spacious compared to the NYC apt I was living in before. Honestly my only complaint is that there is a cockroach problem (though I think this is an issue everywhere in Durham... and S9 is at least attentive when you ask them to come spray). Besides that, it's a fantastic apartment and complex! Highly recommend, especially if you are a Fuqua student looking to meet people!

Good location but the interior is old
S9 is the party house, which is good and bad depending on what you want. The interior is pretty old and not as nice as B9 or 810.

Station 9
I love living in Station 9. It has a secure parking garage in the middle of the complex that makes my walk from my car to my third floor apartment about 30 seconds. The apartments are pretty spacious and come with all the amenities, like washer/dryer in unit, pool access, a grill, a full gym, and a bunch of study rooms with free coffee. The maintenance staff and leasing office are both very helpful. It is a great location about 5-10 minute drive from campus. The only down side is no other law students really live here, it is mostly Fuqua students or undergrads.

Not the most affordable option
Not the most affordable option but gives you easy access to classmates and campus. Management is very responsive. Stick to the top floor to avoid pests and loud noise as walls are thin!

Great Location | no frills | good customer service
Leasing office is really nice and mgmt runs giveaways and special perks throughout the year. apartment is no frills, clean and maintenance requests are responded really quickly. Lots of Fuqua classmates around for support :)

I am happy that I chose S9. I am close to my classmates and the Fuqua community. The location is fantastic; everything is nearby.
The apartment is comfortable. I highly recommend S9, especially for FYs.
