My favorite thing of living at Baity is its closeness to business school and affordability. It's just an 8-minute walk from where I live to Kenan-Flagler. I can have more restful sleep and manageable schedule and life.

One negative side is that there are almost no facilities (shop, pharmacy or restaurant) around this neighborhood.

Baity is close to the terminal station (Family Practice Building) for multiple free Chapel Hill transit buses such as RU, CM, N.

Property management is responsive to questions of any kind and/or request for maintenance. Package management is pretty good with an extended service hour.

For MBA students, Baity Hill apartments would be highly recommended due to its location, cost, and features. The apartment area is about 5 minute walk to the business school building and many business school students live in the apartments. It's a graduate study-only complex, so no worries about undergraduates being in the area. Utilities, internet (UNC internet), cable are included within the rent.

The apartment is very nice and the location is fantastic. The inclusion of all utilities and a low rent makes this places cost almost impossible to beat.

The only bad part is that you are only allowed one parking spot per apartment even if it is a two bedroom. You can apply for a second spot, but this is not guaranteed and likely will not be at your specific building if you do get it.

I don't have any complaints about Baity Hill. The staff is responsive, it is a family community, close to campus and very comfortable apartments.

Short walk to school, gym and other facilities.

The location and price are the best aspects of renting at Baity Hill. It is right next to school and is probably the best value when you consider that utilities are included.

Maintenance issues were all resolved quickly.

The size is a bit small for a family with 2 or more children.

Everything is simple. Everything works, when it doesn't, it is immediately fixed. The rate is very competitive, and includes everything you may need, from water and electricity to wifi and cable tv.
It should allow pets to be perfect. A pool would also be handy. It is close to school, but further away from Franklin. P2P fixes that though.

Close to the school and great value

I am living in Mason Farm from last August. It takes less than 5 minutes from my house to McColl. You don't have to worry about carpool, and you can come back to your house when you have break between classes or at lunch. Very convenient.

The apartments are spacious and nice. Very few complaints regarding living here. The major pain point is parking. Only one vehicle per room and this is true even if you have a two bedroom apartment with a roommate. The other issue is getting a room because it is so popular, so be sure to sign up early.
