Living in One Miami Has Been a Nightmare – Stay Away

I’ve lived in One Miami for the past year, and it’s been absolute h*ll. If you’re considering moving here – don’t.

The Intercontinental Hotel next door is a horrible neighbor. They throw loud, out-of-control parties at their pool almost every weekend. Blasting music, drunk crowds yelling—right across from where people live. When you call the hotel to complain, they just say “it’s an event” and hang up on you like you don’t matter. Reaching out to their corporate office? Useless. Nothing changes.

We’ve called security, filed noise disturbance complaints with the City of Miami, even contacted the Miami Herald and other media. Still nothing. Ultra Music Festival was less disturbing than living next to this hotel.

As for the building itself? It’s falling apart. The pool has been closed for months, with no sign of reopening. Elevators break down constantly. When we first moved in, we couldn’t even move on our scheduled day – had to wait 10 days because of broken elevators. We had to live in a hotel in the meantime.

Then there’s the creepy fingerprint system. You need to scan your fingerprint to enter the building or even use the elevator. Half the time, it doesn’t work. Nobody knows where your biometric data is stored or who has access.

It’s not luxury – it’s an overpriced mess. No peace, no reliability, and no respect for residents. Save your money and your sanity – look somewhere else.

Great Condo

Great condo. Right on Bay, very social building with lots of young professionals. Convenience of being close to Brickell without Brickell traffic - HUGE plus. Takes me 5 minutes to get on 95 every morning. Free yoga in bayfront park every evening. Close to metromover. Very easy to hail uber in the area. Starbucks in intercontinental right next door. Convenience store within building.
