Review of Boylan Apartments

This apartment building is very old, built almost 90 years ago. For some people like me that is a huge plus and for others that is something they would like to avoid. There aren't a lot of modern amenities and the unit shows its age in some good and bad ways. For example, there are not a ton of electrical outlets, however the walls are very thick and the unit does not feel cheaply built like many newer apartments built in this area. The floors creak a bit, so you can hear if someone above you is walking around but it is not overly distracting. My only downside would be the laundry room facility costing $2.25 for a wash and dry, which adds up quickly. The best aspect for me in living here is the proximity to the school, allowing me to walk to class in around 15 minutes. I moved here from the Shelton Apartments about 200 yards up Morgan Street which I could not recommend less. Dilapidated, overpriced, poorly maintained units.
