It is a great place to live—a fairly new building. The staff and other tenants are nice. The apartment is pretty. The location is very nice. Kind of far from school, however there is a UChicago shuttle you can take very close at Roosevelt St. You can also take the CTA and metro bus there. Or even the Metra a little bit further (like a 12 minute walk). And last but not least, it's like a 20-minute walk nice walk to the river.

Great building if interested in living in the South Loop

Coeval apartments is a wonderful boutique apartment building in South Loop. I would not recommend it for a 1L without a car, since it is a bit of a hike from Hyde Park. That said, for later years this is a great building that is quiet, located near a target/multiple grocery stores, and has afforable rent for the quality of living.

Overall it’s a good place to live, minimal complex amenities but there are 2 peletons in the on site gym. Brand new building this year so they’re still getting front staff well situated and make sure you get at least one month free when signing a lease.

I found this building site unseen but they sent me a video tour of my apartment ahead of time so I could see it beforehand. It has great amenities including two rooftop areas with fire pits, grills, and outdoor seating. Each unit has in unit laundry, gas stoves, thermostat that can be controlled on your phone, wireless internet included, and new appliances. They are very pet friendly with a dog run and dog wash on site and a jar of treats on the front desk. There are 24/7 desk attendants and the building is close to the L, Metra, and numerous bus lines. There are numerous food stores and restaurants that are easily walkable. Though not in the Loop, it is very easy to get to the other more northern buildings by walking, bus, or L.
