On Par for the Price Point
The property is about what I would expect, especially since I'm paying a premium for living alone. The apartment is old and the appliances are old, too, but they have been well-maintained and function well. The apartment is very spacious, which is easily its best feature.
It's very close to the law school if you don't mind walking uphill and close to decent food and a solid cafe and liquor store. That said, despite East Hill's marking in the brochure as especially quiet, many of the nearby houses belong to frats, so it is often loud on weekends.
The property owners are responsive, but a little quirky. They don't take any form of electronic payments, so be prepared to drop off checks in a dropbox down the hill.
