Alright

Gym is tiny and does not include all necessary equipment. Rent is too high given amenities and apartment quality.

Great Apartment, Loud Construction

I love living at Harold’s square so far, the apartment and location are great. The bus stop to get to Sage is right behind the building. No complaints about the building itself. But they’ve started construction directly behind the building that starts early M-F. I am not sure the timeline of the construction but I’d definitely check in with management on that before you sign your lease because it is annoying and loud.

Downtown Living

Love my apartment. It’s spacious, modern, has lots of windows. The building is well-kept but sometimes could use more hands on deck. Love that I’m walking distance to cafes, bars, restaurants, and the bus that I use to get up to campus.

Great but expensive

Great management team, new units, modern appliances, large sq ft.

No shared amenities, construction on parking garage

Looks good from the outside, but quality is poor

Great looking finishings, with low-quality once you peek under the hood. Shelves come off the walls, the elevators break frequently, and the gym is tiny. No dog run for pets, and the nearest place for pets to relieve themselves is over a block away.

New building, close to everything

The building itself is sufficient and have no real complaints. There’s a strong Johnson presence as well so that helps make socializing easier. Going anywhere besides campus most likely requires a car or a lengthy walk, so something to keep in mind. The fitness facility isn’t very good, and gyms in Ithaca are surprisingly sparse. There’s a paid gym in the commons, but it’s also not great so gym options are limited which for me personally is a sore spot.

Very nice

Expensive but great place to live. Had some initial problems with new appliances but they are now resolved.
