Pros and Cons

Pros:
Cheaper than pretty much anything else in the area
No commute to classes
Access to the gym
Somewhat safe community
Groceries within walking or reasonable driving distance

Cons:
HUGE mold problem, that the school ignores for the most part
Smoke alarms go off if you so much as sneeze too hard-- makes cooking very stressful
Electric bill can be over $100
You must move out before the first Monday after the tri ends
Students also have a lot of issues with bugs (ants and spiders, especially)

My experience living on campus

The place is decent for the price and I like the proximity to school and supermarkets. It is also pretty quiet. Scenery isn't really anything to write about although it depends which unit you get. With only one window, the unit doesn't get enough ventilation which sucks.
